Vice President Biden announces how we are going to beat the Taliban, click our heels together and say Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!

I was watching the news this morning when they ran a clip of Vice President Biden on Meet The Press, or some other nationally broadcast news 'show' like that, being questioned about the war in Afghanistan. Sporting his usual authoritative rhetoric he proceeded to tell the inquisitor, Mr Gregory, the following. We are winning on all fronts in the war in Afghanistan, really now, and when did this come about. Why just a day or two ago there was some General on and it may have even been General Petraeus who stated for the record that we have made great strides in the south of Afghanistan but are having difficulty in other areas as well as the new violence that has been taking place. But we expect things to improve with the surge and the new tactics we are employing.

Then he, VP Biden, proceeded to tell the viewing audience that we were on time with the planned pullout in 2014 and to show how positive he is he stated it would not be a 'token' pullout but we would be turning the entire mess over to the Afghan Army and they would be fully capable to handle anything that comes their way. Again, what door was this guy standing behind when brains were being handed out, or is he just out there acting as his boss' mouthpiece while that wily Barack Obama tries to remake his image in an effort to get ready for a second run at the White House? I'd say a lot of both!

After listening to Mr. Biden spilling our exit strategy to the Taliban and Al-Qaeda for the umpteenth time, I decided to put myself in the sandals of some Taliban planner and see what I could come up with in less than five minutes. Knowing that the U.S. plans to leave in 2014 I would do the following; 1. Keep a little pressure in the form of small attacks, disinformation and an occasional suicide bomber on the US, Afghan forces and Afghan people so they don't get the impression that I'm just laying back waiting for the US forces to leave so I can march into Kabul and take over. 2. I would have my forces begin to infiltrate the armed forces and police throughout Afghanistan so when the U.S. does pull out it will be easy to cause all out chaos through subversion of the forces and all out terrorism. 3. I'd start the peace talks that crooked Karzai wants to have with the Taliban so I could get a good idea of how this corrupt despot runs things and to see if he would be willing to cut me in on the action which would provide funding for my movement.

What are these guys thinking? It doesn't take the the Rand Corporation or any of the other God knows how many useless think tanks in Washington to see that this whole thing is a crap shoot at best. When are our politicians going to let the military fight the wars that they get us into, I can guarantee if they did there would be significantly fewer losses and the wars would be over much more quickly.

I like Michael Steele and hope he gets the nod for a second term as Republican Party Chairman, he delivered!

I have a particular liking for Michael Steele the current Chairman of the Republican Party. There was a blurb today that he has given notice to the 168 stiffs that make up the Republican National Committee that he wants to run for a second term and from just the results of this last election he should get the job, however there is one sticking point and that is he is not considered an insider, and that may pose some problems for him.

Mr. Steele managed to bridge the 'gap' with the Tea Party and the Republican Party and essentially helped to bring about the landslide election that recently took place, I am also, of the opinion that he will be able to duplicate these result in the upcoming 2012 elections if he is allowed to stay in his office. If the old guard that make up the RNC put one of their own into the job Mr. Steele currently holds I don't believe their results will more than likely not turn out nearly as well if only for the reason that Mr. Steele was fairly received by the people that make up the Tea Party and the rank and file membership of the Republican party as well.

There are a couple of old Bush administration people being tossed about for the job as well as an ambassador and several other Republican stalwarts but based on Steele's track record it seem foolish to me that anyone would would do anything that might possibly stall the current momentum that conservative has managed to create.

Part of his message to the RNC was "Our work is not done, and my commitment has not ended". As I believe very little that any politician says and also believe most to be insincere weasels I do believe him, well 50% anyway and that's a rock solid endorsement in my book.

Obama's Surgeon General Regina Benjamin issues her first report on smoking and shows she's as much of a BS artist as her boss!

I'm as much against smoking as the next guy but I refuse to infringe on any ones rights and that includes the right of an individual to choose to smoke cigarettes, cigars (which I loved to smoke a couple of times a year, oh what I would give to be able to enjoy an H Upmann Corona, and had to give up when I contracted lung disease in China several years back), pipes, hookahs, corn silk and even 'the pipe' if he or she can get the person to sit still so they can light it.

There has been more research done on smoking in the last thirty years than ever should have been. There have been more warnings given, laws passed, age limits imposed, excessive taxes levied constantly and even testimonials from the grave (reference; Yul Brenner) as to why we shouldn't and the inherent evils associated with the tobacco habit. And after all that people keep on smoking. So what do you think the effect of a phony study and a pronouncement from a second rate physician catapulted to the ungodly high position of Surgeon General are going to have on America at large, the answer is nothing and if anything more will take up the habit.

Earlier this week there was a report from the White House and then a comment from the Presidents Press Secretary Robert Gibbs (aka, Mrs. Doubtfire) that the President has managed to beat the smoking habit since March of this year although he would not confirm that 100% which in politispeak that no one has ratted the liar out so far.

There was a real report that came out about ten years ago from a government office that stated that the loss of tax revenues and the burden on the retirement system because smokers have a tendency to die at a much earlier age than those who do not, and proves that the anti tobacco people and the government's assault on smoking have been counterproductive to the economy. The report went on to state that even with the increase in deceases like lung cancer and emphysema with unabated smoking it was still more economical to allow the full use of tobacco as the costs were still offset because there was still less burden on the system. Apparently all of our legislators were in the smoking lounge when this report came out and failed to read it. On the other hand the do-gooders were probably at it again passing rules and regulations that they 'deemed best for the population' and of course without consulting their constituents as usual.

This type of Hitleresque propaganda has been flowing out of the White House like a river during the spring floods for the last two years and hopefully the American people have finally had enough. Though I greatly doubt it, I hope the Dr. Benjamin our Surgeon General is embarrassed from being discredited by this stinker of a report.

Smoke em if you got em!

The climate change conference in Cancun, and I thought news was slow today.

So I get up this morning and get on the laptop thinking there has to be some decent news out there that merit's mention. After fifteen minutes it looks like the entire planet has come to a complete stop when I eye up this little blurb on the UN climate talks being held in Mexico, and not just anywhere in Mexico, but in Cancun, Mexico one of the vacation playgrounds of the western world, and there's this picture of what looks like one guy and four babes at a table in the water, for what reason I don't know but I figured out quickly that the ratio of women to men at this 'climate conference' was about three to one, so let the games begin! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually there were 'delegates' (vacationers) from almost 200 nations present and the article stated that there were no 'grand compacts' floated and that's because the climate change people have all been found out to be frauds (which is probably why the socialist patron saint of global warming, Al Gore, wasn't there) so they decided to 'focus on the proliferation of secondary ideas' (lies) like a "Green Fund" to help, as they say, poor nations with deforestation, technology sales and other matters---I smell some rich progressive types profiting from this one in a really big way, which is Climate delegate speak for other ways to con anyone they can out of more monies that will for some strange reason disappear, like methane gas from a bulls ass in a wind storm. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Remember this is the UN we're talking about, so it's almost a guarantee that the only thing this group spent a great deal of time doing for the two weeks they were in Cancun was f_ _ _ _ _ g on the beach, drinking to excess and spending as much American taxpayer money as they could (in case you are not aware, we are a major supporter of the UN and more than likely also a goodly number of the 200 countries that attended this 'meeting').--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What it boils down to is this, the big nations are backing away from this nonsense as fast as they can since they are all in a horse race to stay ahead of one and other. The world economy is still in the toilet and before any of this climate 'stuff'' should be addressed, the world economy needs to get back on it's collective feet. We and every other supporting nation need, which there are only a handful, to sit the thieves, villains, scoundrels and spies that inhabit the UN, down and tell them that the gravy train has run out of gas and stop with this nonsense. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The President's phony explanation for the tax compromise brings to mind John 8:32 "Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free"

The President stood in front of the cameras for the what seems to be the millionth time and spouted his usual rhetorical BS, this time about how he reached a compromise with the Republicans on the extension of the Bush tax cuts and the 2% payroll tax reduction that are being floated because it's the best thing for the AMERICAN PEOPLE and THE ECONOMY. That's the same AMERICAN PEOPLE and the same ECONOMY he has managed to neglect for the first two years of his tenure in the White House.

There are only two reasons he is paying ANY attention to these issues right now and they are;
1. He got his lunch handed to him is the recent elections and knows that if he doesn't deal with the Republicans before the first of the year when all of the new Congressmen and Senators are seated he won't be able to use the White House bathroom without their permission.

2. He is starting his bid for a second term as of this week and needs the time to re-brainwash the same stupid easily led Utopian idealists he has just finished screwing for the last two years. Or as most of the pundits put it, he needs time to reconnect with the Independents and developmentally delayed immature Liberals that woke up and smelled a real rat.

All of this spirit of cooperation does come at a cost though for Mr. Obama, his progressive way out to the left base is really mad at him for not staying the course and remaining true to their core principles, and from what most gather, put the finishing touches on driving the U.S. into a complete state of ruin allowing them to usher in the new era of Marxist Socialism they are all so eager to shove down the throats of their 'fellow' countrymen, Oh God I love run on sentences when they really apply.

Oh well, so much for the truth setting you free.

Problems with violence are complex but the bulk of the blame falls on Washington for it's lack of action dealing with the illegal drug epidemic.

This past week, sadly there was another policeman killed in Chicago which brings this years total up to five, the most in twenty five years. One Chicago policeman was quoted as saying "There is a lack of respect for the police, a lack of fear of the police that's getting worse". It is my opinion that this so called lack of respect or 'lack of fear' is just one symptom of the real problems facing not only the police by society as a whole.

I realize that times change and I don't want to reference the good old days but there are some comparisons that should be made and possibly reviewed by the so called experts on law enforcement. As a young man I actually respected police officers and on the whole cooperated with them if I had to interact with them for some reason or another, I had no fear of them and like most people, with the exception of criminals, cooperated and had no problems, I understood that they had a job to do and believed they were working on behalf of the public. If I got into some minor scrape it was usually worked out and I like others got on with my life no worse for the wear, the legal system was not nearly as punitive as it has become today which is one of main factors affecting attitudes towards the the authorities, which includes police. Enough for history and as I stated times change.

Law enforcement will probably not admit to this but anyone capable of simple deduction can figure this one out. Police have drifted more in the direction of a paramilitary force and use intimidation more today than ever in the past. Granted, in large metropolitan areas it has become difficult to carry out the old motto of 'To serve and protect' because of gang problems brought about by the lack of attention paid by our governments' from the local through national levels, with the bulk of the blame falling on the Federal Government for their lack of support both in manpower and funding for the fight against illegal drug trafficking and illegal immigration. Had the Fed's put the manpower and funding behind the various agencies tasked with fighting both illegal drugs and illegal immigration twenty five years ago along with demanding that the laws on the books be enforced as written, our problems would be virtually nonexistent today.

Instead of declaring all out war on the cartels and protecting the borders our government and the criminal justice system in particular took a soft handed approach to what our fat cat insulated out of touch legislators thought would never reach the proportions it has today. Well here it is, and it's an ugly giant gorilla of a problem that is going to have to be addressed or it will only get worse. The drug trade has fueled the exponential growth of street gangs over the last twenty five years to the point where Chicago claims 100,000 gang members and even quiet Denver claims 9000 gang members to contend with, illegal immigration has helped to put out economy in the sewer contrary to the rantings of liberal politicians and media types, and herein is where the problems lie.

The gangs surely won't help the police and the people who live in gang infested areas won't either out of fear of the gangs and also because of the treatment they receive from the police who treat anyone living in gang areas like criminals whether they are or not. Since most police departments seem to be attempting to convert to paramilitary organizations it appears the basic psychology used on the general public is one of intimidation which they are finding out in most areas doesn't garner much cooperation from the average John Doe, Diego Vega or Muhammad al Muhammad, which in turn makes it harder do their jobs. I am not advocating cooperating with the police as my experience over the last few years has taught me that the best way to deal with the police is limit communication to zero, whether innocent or guilty, without an attorney present.

Sadly this situation will more than likely continue until such time as the Federal Government decides they've had enough grief from the voters, been paid off enough by the cartels, have enough of their children lost to the drug problem or we are completely broke from trying to support illegals who have no business being here to begin with.

I don't know doodley dick about finance but I have managed to grasp the concept of cut spending = cut the deficit, whats so difficult to understand.

The Presidents Deficit Commission, which by the way could be considered in some circles to be an oxymoron, failed to gain the necessary votes to move forward with any plan at least until the new Congress convenes in January. There appeared to be consensus among the members until the issue of raising taxes was mentioned and until Nancy Pelosi objected because of proposed cuts in spending that would have a direct effect on her grossly wasteful programs.

Most republicans are in favor of the cuts in spending that are going to have to be made in order to keep the country from going broke, they are however against the tax increases that have been suggested even though they know that there are going to be some if we are ever going to be solvent again. The Democrats say they will go along but they refuse to stop spending, which even a non-finance person like myself knows will only put us closer to disaster. All I can figure is that they feel a tax and spend policy will bring socialism to the United States that much quicker.

American voters should be proud of the fact that they were able to catch this lot of scum that are out to destroy our way of life and impose one that no American has ever experienced. Remember, socialism/communism takes away any incentive to get ahead and that is contrary to Americans.

While sitting in my blogging blind watching one political Foo Bird after another fly by, Illegal Immigrants and Mexico flew right into my sights.

So I'm watching the news tonight when not just one but two stories catch my interest. The first was a state Representative from Utah whose name I have already forgotten and other than the fact that she was a Democrat, because there was a (D) after her name. The plan that she is proposing is that all illegals in Utah should become registered so they can pay taxes into the system, sounds good at first if your brain dead or a moron. She makes this explanation with the usual Thorazine smile that liberals are notorious for when they think they are getting over on the rest of the country.

Part of the flawed logic she floats is the fact that we, America, are overrun with illegals and there is no way we can ever solve the problem because we could never send them all back, really now, so we should just give them all IDs and let things go as they may. All along not stopping to explain that her plan is just another lame scam for amnesty and that she apparently missed that America is on to her and her ilk and that the last election pretty much spelled that out.

Then the next story came on and problem solver that I am, I decided I would float my own possible solution on what to do with Mexico. To hear Mexicans talk the problems in Mexico are almost over and President Calderon is doing a fine job. Why one man cited the fact that there have only been 2800 murders in Ciudad Juarez so far this year, so I guess in a city with an estimated population of 1.5 million that's not so bad considering that their homicide is only 18 to 20 worse than the worst city in America, but I guess it's really OK in a country like Mexico that's got things under control. When prodded about spill over of violence into the US one interviewee said its not a problem, only a few direct murders and decapitations but nothing like our neighbors across the Rio Grande, I guess that means we have it good. One thing none of those interviewed will discuss is the drugs that keep flowing across the border and for all their talk about having the cartels on the ropes that must mean that the drugs are getting here by some miracle or possible aliens from outer space, it's all horse c_ _p. The authorities get one boss and there is another to take his place, like right now.

I had thought about doing a humor piece about the US annexing Mexico but when I really started to think about the gravity of this problem several serious thoughts come to mind. First of all, our politicians from the local level to the President are responsible for allowing this crime against humanity to perpetuate itself. Our borders should have been closed off thirty plus years ago (that's during the Reagan era in case you can't add) and at the very least the day after 9/11. Our inept politicians continue to argue to this very day and that socialist in the White House wants to give all illegals amnesty regardless of background and all for the sake of votes and the furthering of his socialist agenda.

The DEA has never been allowed to go after the illegal drug business full force and is kept at bay through funding or lack of. Our border patrol service cries for more manpower and again the easiest way to allow the flow of illegals and drugs is to keep manpower at a minimum. Groups like the Minutemen are vilified by the Federal Government as vigilante organizations, and this couldn't be farther from the truth. There is a solution and that is ramping up enforcement services for the areas of illegal immigration and drug enforcement, put troops on the border, lots of troops. Close the borders by building walls, real walls along the entire length. Make and enforce drug laws that are so Draconian that dealing in drugs no matter how small will strike fear into the hearts of even the most heartless. Sadly the current administration in Washington will not be the one to address this problem. For this problem to be solved it is going to take a complete changeover in elected officials from the lowliest local politicians through the top spot and those who are elected are going to require a special resolve to get the job done. If you don't think this is serious open your eyes and look around, just a little and you'll be sadly surprised at what's right in front of you face.

"Americans find it intolerable that one constitutional right should have to be surrendered in order to assert another. America is the land of the free and the home of the brave--we don't need a Patriot Act, because we are already patriots. We know freedom means responsibility, but I'm not sure Congress and it's domestic enforcement agencies do. More often than not, new security me assures enacted by the government have resulted in more violations of the citizenry than the terrorists have ever done. The terrorists want us to be afraid--well we are not afraid. Stop wasting dollars on this program--it is not good for America. To give up essential liberty for a little security provides neither. The right to be left alone from government intrusion is the beginning of all freedoms".

Push for tax hikes, No new drilling, Support Assange by keeping silent; Sounds like business as usual for the Obama administration!

It appears that the President missed the message about the literal ass kicking he took in the November elections. Someone needs to tell him that he is now going to be at the mercy of a House dominated by the other guys and a Senate full of his guys that want to be re-elected in two years. I realize he needs the left to get nominated for a second term but there is no guarantee they will want to hang their future on a three legged horse, this would be a tough one even for the likes of the godfather of the left ( I really shouldn't invoke the name of God in the same sentence with that douche bag Soros but it adds some humor, dark though it may be) George Soros.

The Prez can't seem to get over the idea that the country wants the Bush era tax cuts extended for EVERYONE, and apparently no one in his administration has taken the time to tell him that the American people are on to his one speech after another attempt to brain wash the country to the point that they buy into his hollow promises again. I think it was either Lincoln or P.T Barnum who coined the statement "You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time", either way it fits the current President and his entire administration to include Hillary Clinton.

He comes out against any new drilling effectively killing God knows how many jobs in the gulf area. Based on the speed that this administration moves at, it will be a real long time before a drill head cuts the ocean floor and sadly for no good reason other than to push our economic recovery further back.

We are now into the latter part of the first week of the security leak via WikiLeaks and still the country hasn't heard a word from our commander in chief. It was reported that WikiLeaks wasn't shut down by the government but by some ex-military people so this just proves that the President and his people are in favor of whatever breaches in relationships with our allies may come about from this mess as evidenced by their lack of any action. The Rasmussen Presidential tracking poll for today shows 28% of voters strongly approving of the way Barack Obama is performing his role as President. 42% strongly disapprove giving Obama a Presidential approval index rating of -17. In case you don't know this doesn't fare well for the Prez, and by the way his number have been on a continuous downward trend almost since taking office with the exception of a few small ups and downs.

I have some advice for the President since his MO appears to have worn out. Try this Mr. President, Whistle a happy tune, I thought this was advice from Uncle Remus but it turns out it is the title of a song from The King and I, written by Rodgers and Hammerstein. You can google 'I whistle a happy tune' and will see the lyrics fit this administration perfectly.

Moving at the speed of light the Obama administration limits access to sensitive files, well actually, two months after the fact. The barn has burned!

Still reeling from the WikiLeaks debacle the government finally decided today to limit access to sensitive materials in light of all that has surfaced. Kudos to the Obama administration for their quick action, two months late. Actually it seems more and more obvious that the Obama administration is either totally inept or, they are as some say, trying to destabilize the world in an effort to help usher in the 'New World Order' based on socialist principles. I have a tendency to believe they are a little of both.

If the WikiLeaks nightmare isn't bad enough it was reported late today that the Justice Dept, you know the one headed up by our totally incompetent Attorney General Eric Holder, had suppressed information on the state of the drug problem in Mexico specifically that the Mexican cartels were now the largest suppliers of Methamphetamine to the US. This information was suppressed when President Calderon of Mexico was making an official visit to Washington and they did not want him to be embarrassed. Not that he should be since his administration has been basically ineffective in their war on drugs. By the way this was as you may guess not reported on any of the major liberal media outlets, Fox was the only one to pick it up and report, also, this story was not covered on any of the Internet news sits for some strange reason, I wonder why.

Anyway, cutting access to government documents is one of the few smart moves this administration has made. The government need to reevaluate their security clearance process. We live in the computer age, so how difficult can it be if someone like Pfc Manning has issues outside the workplace that it can be flagged and his or her security clearance be reduced or removed if the problem is really serious, Pfc Manning had issues and no one did anything about it and now look what's happening. If the likes of a Pfc Manning managed to fly under the radar I can imagine how many more of his kind there are layered in the ranks of our military and other government services.

The search for Julian Assange is now being spearheaded by Interpol, who by the way don't have any idea where he is. The idea behind using Interpol is that it should be more difficult for Assange to travel. Mr. Assange appears to be supported by several highly influential 'progressives' (Socialists) and as such will be difficult to find unless he and or his supporter want him to be. So on that one we'll have to wait until he surfaces. The Justice Dept is intimating that they would like to prosecute Mr. Assange for espionage, I wonder if Mr. Holder will want him tried in the court in Manhattan, if so he'll probably get off with a warning and a beer summit at the White House.

"There is simply no escaping the fact that the fate of the constitution is in our hands--as voters, representatives, justices. If we allow ourselves to abuse the tradition of higher lawmaking, the very idea that the Constitution can be viewed as the culminating expression of a mobilized citizenry will disintegrate. After all the American Republic is no more eternal than the Roman--and it will come to an end when the American citizens betray their Constitution's fundamental ideals and aspirations so thoroughly that existing institutions merely parody the public meanings they formerly conveyed".

Let's see, what's on the world buffet tonight; N. Korea, China, Iran, Bombers, WikiLeaks, Fed Pay Freeze---I'll have a big plate of WikiLeaks please!

This whole WickiLeaks mess is one of the most shameful episodes our country is going to experience for some time to come. How is it that there were so few controls in place that a Pfc could walk into his workplace with a CD in hand and walk out with so much sensitive material. How is it that this goof, Pfc Bradley Manning managed to to get the security clearance that allowed him access to anything more confidential than reading materials in a men's room to begin with? The only explanation is that our military and intelligence services have let their standards drop so low that anyone can get a security clearance. The news media and the government spout off on a regular basis about how the Military and Intelligence services have managed to attract the best and the brightest our country has to offer. If this is an example of the B & the B than we are in need of an overhaul of monumental proportions.

Whats worse is that the US government appears to have not done Jack Johnny since this whole thing came into the spotlight several months ago. Our CIA, FBI and the ever efficient Homeland Security have no idea where Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks is. Alright, the FBI and Homeland Security get kind of a pass because he probably isn't here, but the CIA, whats wrong with this picture, all the media and the government people keep saying is that this scum is well protected, I'll bet the NKVD ( formerly the KGB ) could dig up this turd in a day or so and the same applies to the Chinese Secret Police.

Our illustrious Attorney General Eric Holder came on today and couldn't have given a weaker response to what the Justice Dept and the Government plan to do, Hillary Clinton came on and had the look on her face that she was being forced to make a statement or she would have to eat poo and The President himself has completely refrained from making public comment, and in the current climate and state of security, should keep his mouth shut, because whatever he says will probably be leaked.

What this all boils down to is that the current administration is viewed as weak by the world powers at large and sadly their assessment is probably true. It has been rumored that the Russians view Mr. Obama as a weak personality, it's apparent that the Chinese feel the same way and the bowing thing to the Arabs was a dead give away that the 'leader of the free world' was humbled by bowing submissively to the Arab despots in Saudi Arabia, who by the way fund terrorism around the world.

Like it or not we need a return to the days when the likes of Pfc Manning would be tied to a post and shot, post haste. When our intelligence service 'took care' of problems like Mr. Assange quietly and efficiently. When we were respected around the world by our friends and our enemies as well. THIS IS A REALITY CHECK-THE CHINESE CONTROL EVERY MOVE THE NORTH KOREANS MAKE. It's time for the American people to wake up!

North Korea has been spouting off again today about retaliating if anyone crosses into their sovereign space, with the start of the US/South Korean War Games. Whether the threats are for real, which by the way all of the pundits, politicians and think tank advisers who make their livings off of fear mongering and posturing, claim are not, or if they, the North Koreans, are just 'kidding' and just want to get everyone to the table so they can get the palcators, litigators and the 'give away the farm' negotiators from the good old US of A to make concessions and give them gobs of aid for free, is up in the air.

Sadly this whole mess could have been avoided if the US had followed the advice of their Generals way back after the end of the Second World War (WWII). If you recall your history lessons, oh I forgot, this isn't taught in schools and hasn't been for years because our Socialist educators don't want reality or anything that resembles truth as part of the curriculum taught in schools, primary through college. Well anyway, when the really big one ended and the Korean War came about General Douglas MacArthur, you may have heard of him and his famous speech about " Old soldiers never die, they just fade away" which was given before Congress after he was fired because he disagreed with then President Harry Truman because he advocated wiping out the Communists in North Korea, who were actually the Communist Chinese and who by the way at that time had only manpower and could have been beaten back to their own border and maybe even overthrown.

Fast forward to present day and we have pretty much the same situation as existed fifty some years ago. The Chinese are still in charge and out weak kneed politicians are still licking their private parts. We have had one tough talking nut less President after another condemn the North Koreans for their actions and then cave and deliver whatever the North Koreans demand, our current President is no different.

What needs to happen is this, The US must demand that the Chinese put a muzzle on the current despot occupying the palace in Pyongyang, overthrow him and absorb the whole country if necessary, the people would probably be better off anyway. Admit that they, the Chinese, use North Korea to keep the rest of the world from noticing that the Chinese are in the process of developing the largest military in the world and it's just a guess that they are developing the largest nuclear arsenal at the same time. Basically it's time to start calling a spade a spade.

"Our government has kept us in a perpetual state of fear-kept us in a continuous stampede of patriotic fervour-with the cry of grave national emergency. Always, there has been some terrible evil at home, or some monstrous foreign power that was going to gobble us up if we did not blindly rally behind it".

With Europe on the verge of tanking Mr. Obama & Company appear to be ready to follow suit with more bad fiscal policy.

In case you've been limiting your TV watching to feel good sitcoms, dancing shows and liberal new outlets I'll attempt t bring you up to speed on global news. Europe has been experiencing a somewhat similar down turn to the one we have been experiencing for the last two years. However their downturn may end up being worse than ours for several reasons. First of which is the fact that the European countries are more socialized than we are and are being forced to make changes that we in the United States may not see as harsh but when you are living in a real nanny state like Europe it's like shock therapy.

Retirement age is being pushed up from 60 to 62, which here in the states may not mean much since we are at 65, but to these tools it's totally unacceptable. England is cutting 490K civil service jobs because their government is essentially broke. Ireland, we find out this week is on the verge of collapse as well as Greece, Spain, Portugal and as one article stated, all of Europe. So what are they going to do, slash spending and raise taxes, what else, which any economist will tell you is the exactly what should not be done to remedy the situation. Slash spending but do not raise taxes in times when your economy is tanked. Even a non financial guy like myself can manage to understand the concept so whats going on in the minds of the leaders of the European countries and in our own government as well.

Raising taxes curbs economic growth and that also applies to the extension of tax cuts here in the US. The Obama people are so taken up with their share the wealth socialist ideal they just don't get the idea that tax cuts need to be applied across the boards if they want to see growth in our economy. At the same time we need to reduce the size of government and reduce government spending. If the UK is letting 490K go we should be able to let several million go without affecting how the country runs.

We also need to look at the salaries being paid to government workers as they have shot up excessively in the last few years, remember government workers get retirement and benefits that have always been better than their counterparts in the private sector and this consideration should be factored into what they are paid. In short we are in need of a general overhauling of the system. If the system was to be overhauled our economy would begin to expand rapidly. But for some strange reason Mr. Obama and his liberal base don't want that to happen, they seem bent of instituting policies that will have the opposite effect on the economy and the country. I guess that's why Mr. Obama has been accused as of late even by the liberal media types of having socialist leanings.

I guess he hasn't learned much in the last two years and hopefully keeps on the same path for the next two, which will make it easier to send him back to Chicago in 2012, permanently.

" In every declining civilization there is a small 'remnant' of people who adhere to the right against the wring; who recognize the difference between good and evil and who will take an active stand for the former and against the latter; who can still think and discern and who will courageously take a stand against the political, social, moral, and spiritual rot or decay of their day".

On his way to a Yahtzee tournament today, The President pledged to defend any of our allies who come under attack, then he asked if anyone was?

The shelling of South Korea today is just another indication of how little regard and how much contempt the Chinese have for the U.S. There is no doubt that the Chinese are the puppet masters when it comes to the goings on in North Korea. As Kim Jong-il has no other real allies, with the possible exception of that other despot Hugo Chavez, he relies totally on the Chinese for his very existence. So it only stands to reason that the Chinese ordered the shelling today. One of the reasons for the shelling is that the Chinese are trying to force the U.S. back into the so called 'six party talks' which include the North Korea, South Korea, China, Japan The United States and Russia, which I'd go way out on a limb and say the deck is stacked in the favor of our enemies if we sit down and attempt to negotiate anything more serious than a parking ticket.

Worse, the Chinese this past week declared sovereignty over the South China Sea and at the same time warned the U.S. not to send any aircraft carriers there to take part in war games with South Korea. In case the reader is not aware China is currently fielding a 10 million man Army and they do it under the guise of national and or internal protection. I continually wonder who buys this one since there are no, and I mean, unequivocally no countries that would invade China no matter what and for what. Since WWII Japan has had no real army so they're of no real threat, Russia has a shrinking population because of the lasting effects of Communist rule and an ingrained socialist mindset and in fact will probably lose Siberia to the Chinese by default within the next several generations because of the large influx of Chinese who continue to immigrate there. So who is interested in taking over China, the answer is no one. The real reason for the large army and the staggering military industrial complex is simple, China will move to expand at some time in the future and wants to be so formidable and sophisticated that no standing or combined armies in the world would dare to oppose them.

On a personal note, I don't buy goods produced in China unless there is no other viable alternative. And again, it is my belief that our government and the short sighted corporations made a colossal mistake getting into bed with Beijing to the incredible extent that they have.

"We must ask that government undertake the obligation above all of providing citizens with adequate opportunity for employment and earning a living. The activities of the individual must no be allowed to clash with the interests of the community, but must take place within the confines and be for the good of all. Therefore we demand an end to the power of financial interest. We demand profit sharing in big business. We demand a broad extension of care for the aged. We demand...the greatest possible consideration of small business in the in the purchases of the national, state, and municipal governments. In order to make possible to every capable and industrious citizen the attainment of higher education and thus the achievement of a post of leadership, the government must provide an all around enlargement of our system of public education...We demand the education at government expense of gifted children of poor parents...The government must undertake the improvement of public health--by protecting mother and child, by prohibiting child labor--by the greatest possible support of all groups concerned with the physical education of youth. We combat the materialistic spirit within and without us, and are convinced that a permanent recovery of our people can only proceed from within on the foundation of The Common Good Before the Individual Good".

Is it proper etiquette to tip a TSA employee if he or she gives you a good 'rub' during a pat-down? And if so, what's a reasonable amount?

Once again the geniuses occupying the hallowed halls in Washington and specifically Homeland Security have missed the real point by attempting to be 'politically correct' and forcing all travelers to submit to scans and or pat-downs or both if they are good looking, when the real point here is profiling. And since the whole problem of travel security was brought about by Muslims, they should be the principle targets of the security people. It is a fact that we as a nation have never heard a collective voice from the Muslim community as a whole condemning the acts of their Muslim brothers and sisters, and for some strange reason our government seems to have missed this, I wonder why?

Aside from just having to go through an 'electronically' invasive process like scanning the real issue here is what do you tell travelers who fly frequently about their excessive exposure to radiation? What about people with health issues who are often X-Ray'd more than they should but require it to monitor their conditions and then are subjected to potential over dose of radiation?

Here's another question that I'm sure the big wigs at TSA won't touch; Are the people operating the scan (X-RAY) equipment at the airports trained to the same standards as a Radiology Tech, they're operating X-Ray equipment aren't they? I doubt it, my best guess is that the vast majority of TSA employee's couldn't even tell you what Radiology is. OK, maybe they have at least taken some of the prerequisites to become a Radiology Tech, like Biology and the ever popular Anatomy and Physiology, again I would guess we've entered the unknown zone for the average TSA employee.

And don't believe for one second that our government is trying 'desperately to balance security and privacy and will take the public's concerns and complaints into account' as stated by our defense secretary. Oh yes they'll do that, just like they did when the government was jamming all that unwanted legislation down our collective throats over the last two years.

These are strange times we live in for sure.

As the President continues to avoid the economic mess at home he finds solace in in the embrace of the crumbling Socialist governments in Europe.

The President took off for Europe to get away from the beating he continues to get here in the states. He is attending a NATO Summit where he appears to still have some popularity. After today's meetings he announced that he had won summit agreement to build a missile shield over Europe. The missile shield is designed to protect Europe from possible attack by Iran and mainly an effort by another outdated organization, NATO. In case you don't know, NATO stands for North Atlantic Treaty Organization which was formed in 1949 with the basic goal of containing the Russians. It was set up as kind of an all for one and one for all if they were attacked, nice idea if you have a standing army capable of banding together with other to repel your enemies, and the only member with that standing Army then as well as now is guess who, us.

Well anyway the relevance of NATO has been in question for some years and this summit was supposed to show that it is relevant and that the member countries of the should continue to support it financially mainly by the U.S. kind of the way we do for the UN, which brings us to how much is this going to cost. As usual President Obama was more interested in crowing his triumph at the summit and as usual won't discuss the particulars like, will it work and how much is it going to cost, because he and his people know it will end up costing the U.S. a fortune and we as a nation will not receive any benefit whatsoever and Europe may not either. Why not just inform Iran than if they make any aggressive moves towards any 'NATO' member they will be blown off the face of the earth, the easy cheap and direct approach.

The best part of this fun weekend in Portugal is that the Russians are going to be invited to be part of the missile shield but will not be given joint control. This is like being invited to a strip club and forced to wear a blindfold. Again, in case you missed it, the last time a missile shield was brought up in Europe by another inept President of the United States, the Russians made it clear that it was a bad idea and if you're from that part of the world it's a real consideration. The Russians are and have been in bed with the Iranians for a long and will more than likely do everything to keep this bad idea from ever happening. And in the end will be doing Europe and the U.S taxpayers a favor by saving us a fortune.

No matter how hard they tried there was no political hay for the Prez and his Congress today. Whats that old saying, "Money talks and BS walks"

There has been a great deal of hoopla among all of the media outlets today with regard to the GM IPO and all of the money they are paying back to the government. There was so much in fact that President Obama got into the act touting the brilliance of his administration's bailout of GM and how the taxpayers are going to be the recipients of some kind of trickle down benefit from it all. Sadly, once again Mr. Obama failed to deliver anything more than lip service. The fact is, that GM could have filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy and accomplished the same thing without any burden on the taxpayers.

In chapter 11 they would have been able to close inefficient factories and facilities, probably made a better deal with the unions since the Socialists currently inhabiting the White House would not have owned a piece of their collective asses and been able to effect the same layoffs that they did without costing the TAXPAYERS of the United States BILLIONS.

One Democratic Congressman after another came on the news today touting the move as the only way to preserve the millions of jobs that would have been lost in the total liquidation of GM, which, by the way was never going to happen. GM needed to reorganize from the effects of years of bad management and corporate incest, nothing more nothing less and in reality the government had no business attempting to send up a trial balloon for nationalizing of our industrial base. Thank God we only have two more years of this disaster in political experimentation.

If there's one thing Democrats know how to pick it's Hall of Shame Attorney Generals.

So the United States takes one on the chin from it's own executive branch with the total mishandling of the first Gitmo trial held in a civilian court. Eric Holder should go and hang himself for this disgrace, but don't bet on it since he's basically to stupid to tie the right knot. It appears as though we are going to be subjected to two more years of this moron since he has shown he hasn't the work or life experience to go for the gold like his compatriot and Obama Administration ditcher, Rammin' Rahm Emanuel who's in the process of convincing the Joe six packs of Chicago that he should be their next Mayor elect.

I wonder how much this monkey f_ _k disguised as a trial has cost the good taxpayers of our great country in terms of security and legal fees alone, remember this scumbag has no assets and as such his legal fees will be picked up by the government. This piece of human waste will probably end suing the government and if he manages to do it while Mr. Holder is still AG he'll probably win and collect big.

Thank God we only have two more years of this administration's antics to contend with. As it is, it will take years to undo the damage we have suffered at their hands.

Are you happy now all of you Obama voters, next time you'll listen when I warn you about Illinois politicians!

I warned you when our current President was running for office that it was a mistake to put an Illinois politician in the highest office in the land, but nooooo, you idiots had to put this Karl Marx wannabee and his deluded, I wish I was Josephine, wife into the White House for an excruciating four years. This last week, in case you missed it, Buff arms the girls and God only knows how many of their hanger on entourage friends spent the week in Spain at the expense of the American taxpayers. Oh, I guess she had spent all of her energy on her booty busting childhood obesity program so she needed some time away from all the hustle and bustle of who knows what. All the while Barry stays home and plays host to a bunch of NBA players getting in several games of B-ball and feeding this overpaid lot while doing nothing that benefits our ailing economy, but then again maybe we're better off if he does nothing.

While I was away from the blogosphere making my move from Illinois to the great west it appears that the liberal news media, TV in particular have finally come to admit that Mr. Obama does in fact display socialist tendencies but stop short of calling him an all out Marxist, but that's alright because I'll do it for them. This Godless academic is just that and if the American people don't come completely out of the ether and see to it that this administration is turned into a lame duck this November it will take years to reverse the damage.

I vividly remember the liberal youth in my office running around the day after the election telling anyone who would listen that they, and their new leader, were going to right every wrong that had been perpetrated over the last forty years. Apparently they missed the part where he told them he was going to try to destroy our Republic and adopt the ideology of his apparent idol, Karl Marx, I wonder what he was doing at Harvard the day someone was explaining that, that political system (Communism) has failed each and every time it has been forced on any group of people. Why he's managed to botch the job so badly that the Commies that run Russia don't want to be associated with him.

What it all boils down to is this, the country made a mistake and there's still plenty of time to make a course correction so when you go into the voting booth this November, do the right thing, I needn't say more.

OK, so I've been off line for a few months trying to sell my house and move west and in that time our economy has only gotten worse! Enough with H & C

I've been tied up with a home sale and a major move from the Chicago area to the Denver area for the last several months and have really had no time to write since I also, have a real job, am not politically connected to the Socialist regime that is currently in power and have no stipend, grants or slush going my way to help offset expenses so the old excuse "I've been busy' really does apply. I have however, been keeping track of the goings on in the world though and have a great deal of pent up vitriol to spew at the government for their general mishandling of just about everything.

There are incumbent politicians desperately in need of a good verbal spanking for their hypocritical reversal in attitude which was brought on as a last ditch effort to keep their jobs, and last but not least there are racial issues that need to be addressed and I can guarantee when I'm finished will keep me from getting a membership card in the Tea Party even though what I post will be true and correct.

The Islamics have been misbehaving and lying through their tea stained teeth as usual, the North Koreans and their handlers the Chinese are up the their usual B_ _l S_ _t. And if I hear the Prez say one more time in another of his canned speeches that "we have a special relationship" with another country that in reality he can't stand, I'll puke.

So watch this weekend for the first of what I hope will be an endless string of commentaries about the comings and goings of events in and around this whirling mass we call planet earth.

This abuse mess has to be addressed once and for all, and it has to start at the top, it's time for the Pope to get into the fray in a big way.

I haven't written much lately as I have had other things on my mind mainly a home sale in this pitiful down market and an upcoming move. But the news over the last couple weeks about the resurgence of the abuse scandal has prodded me back to the laptop. I left the Catholic Church several years ago when the abuse scandal was at it's peak in the US and of late have given serious thought to going back to the Catholic church for several good reasons, one of which is the fact that the Roman Catholic Church is the only organization in the world that has the membership and the history to be able to combat the world wide expansion of Islam.

The other is that I had thought that even though the scandal was not handled at all well in the US and that the measures taken were far less than the draconian measures that should have been taken, the church was doing it's best to keep from imploding and in the US at least would take measures to see that it didn't happen anymore, I was really wrong on that one.

Anyway I have to give this a great deal more thought and will write on this subject over the next few days and weeks as it really is important.

If the Local, State and Federal governments' enforced existing laws there wouldn't be any need for 2nd Amendment debate.

The debate over Second Amendment rights continues to drone on backed by the efforts of the Brady people to include the likes of Mayor Richard Daley of Chicago when simple enforcement and strict sentencing would actually produce far better results. The anti gun crowd would have you believe that there would be a veritable crime vacuum if all guns were taken off the street, and that ladies and gentlemen holds about as much water as Al Gores climate change lie.

There are several very important factors that the mayor of the great city as well as the Brady people never seem to touch on so I'll bring them to the forefront in this little essay as it's necessary to add them to the equation to keep this debate from becoming even more lopsided. First and foremost is enforcement of laws dealing with crimes committed with guns, any guns how's that. Very simply put, if a crime is committed with a gun then the perpetrator should go to jail for a long time, there should be no deals, no plea bargains, no backroom payoffs to judges, etc etc. Next, if a felon is caught in possession of a gun, any gun, they should go to jail for a long time, no deals no plea bargaining.

What it all really boils down to though is that laws haven't been enforced and the biggest culprit, illegal drugs, has never been properly addressed from the local to the Federal levels. Illegal drugs have brought about the rise in powerful street gangs who require illegal weapons to ply their trade and the government and the legal system hold the greatest fault for their lack of action in addressing this monumental problem. Here's one very plausible theory that I'm sure will never be addressed, there are literally billions of dollars generated by the sale of illegal drugs for the cartels which leaves literally millions for paying off politicians and law enforcement types which in turn helps to perpetuate this festering sore on the backside of our society.

Simply put, it's not the law abiding citizen who has a gun for hunting, home or personal protection that is the cause of the problem.

The governor's meeting, what a great place to showcase health care once more when it's the economy that should be in the spotlight.

I was off today and decided to watch the President's address to the governors meeting in Washington and what I thought would be a speech on the economy turned out to be another rehash of health care reform. What's really becoming a sad feature of this President is his apparent inability to grasp the fact that the American people are more interested in his administration taking decisive action to help our flagging economy than the promotion of his Fabian philosophy.

He wasted time by promoting his flawed health care program to the governors, then segued into his revamp of the educational system citing South Korea as an example. He managed to leave out one important point as he always does when discussing education and that is countries that have a tendency to excel have strong family based systems, like South Korea. Also, countries that have superior educational systems also are countries that are not entitlement based societies in that the populations of those countries all understand the precept that success is achieved through hard work.

We are in the process of creating an entire class of unemployed in this country and all this President can do is stand in front of a group of governors and pontificate about the new industries we are going to create in the future which when closely observed are essentially service related jobs which in real world terms are the least stable. We need to make things in this country in order to have a strong middle class, and by that I mean we need to manufacture high quality goods that can be exported around the world. The United States was an industrial giant that was allowed to become obsolete through corporate and political greed. The greatest thing this President could do for this country would be to spearhead the retooling of our failing manufacturing base which in the long run would produce jobs and a strong economy.

I think this is called 'the pot calling the kettle black' when a pimp like the PM of Haiti accuses Baptist missionaries of child trafficking.

It is beyond me how the US will stand aside and let a pimp like the PM of Haiti accuse the Baptist missionaries, currently being held in Haiti, of human trafficking. It's a fairly obvious that they were moving these children for purely humanitarian purposes and the scenario that is more than likely true is that the government officials are upset that the current pool of children that would normally be sold into slavery is currently low because of the earthquake and their income has been somewhat reduced. The news media has once again passed over some key points in an effort to make a faith based aid group look bad, the first and most glaring is the fact that human trafficking in Haiti is common place in fact it is so common that they have a name for those sold into bondage it is 'restavek'.

The sanitized version states that parents send their child to work for host household because they lack the resources to support the child, in some cases the child is treated well and in others the child is abused. My vote would be on number two just about every time and the evidence is there to prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt. The story goes that poor rural people send their children to more affluent people in the cities thinking they will have better opportunities and escape the poverty that exists in the rural enclaves. This type of activity could not take place without the consent of the higher authorities in a country the size of Haiti which would indicate to the outsider that the government has more than just it's fingers in this mess.

As of today the government is talking to the missionaries and if they are even moderately bright at best they will let these people go without any consequence and do it quietly, because they are about to get an enormous payday as the US begins to rebuild their country and the illegal gain they all stand to make will more than offset what they take in selling children on the black market. Since we are going to get tapped to handle almost the entire rebuild of Haiti I think it would be totally appropriate to line up all of the ruling body there and do away with them all, this would at least give the people of Haiti a chance at finally building a real country.

Jesus Christ Almighty, the President created a new party during the State of the Union that he's sure it will appeal to both sides, Demopublican!

I managed to sit through the entire State of the Union speech tonight watching and listening to what the President had to say. He did his best to pander to both sides of the aisle with an admission that we need nuclear power and off shore drilling to meet our future power needs, then he went to bat for the left with his usual braying about green technology, climate change, cap and trade and the immediate need for a (government run) health care program. During his segment on health care he apparently missed the copy on the teleprompter that dealt with Tort reform. Seriously, tort reform is a subject that is off the table with the vast majority in the Democratic Party because the lobbyists for the Trial lawyers association have them by the seat of their pants and they won't touch it no matter how much the American people call for it.

He babbled on some more about both parties need to work together to get whats best for the American people. The most truthful statement that he made was that America has lost trust in government especially that in Washington. He talked about hidden agendas with regard to running the country but failed to say that he and his inner circle have been trying, unsuccessfully for the time being, to move us in the direction of socialism.

I loved the part where he talked about our need to export more products, that's great but we don't make an awful lot that we can export and in the grand scheme of things China has said publicly that they are not going let as much as one manufacturing job leave their country. He said he was going to remove tax breaks from the companies that are exporting jobs, that's fine but if they can get products and services for less in China and India those costs will more than likely offset the difference. Also, if this government is not careful many of the large corporations will pack up and move their headquarters to foreign countries that have favorable tax environments.

The President did talk about the treatment of Veterans and that the government is working to forge a new VA for the future, however Vets will as they have in the past end up getting screwed because Mr. Obama in reality is not a fan of a strong military and like all those who have gone on before him could care less about veterans.

Mr. Obama covered rogue nations and mentioned Iran specifically and that we will impose even stricter sanctions against them if they refuse to bow to world pressure, my guess is that he had to call the Chinese and the Russians before the speech to get their permission to slam the Iranians.

He covered the illegal immigration issue in that he said we will work on the problem and work at closing our borders, although he failed to say that his administration has done nothing since taking office so that means we have had literally millions more people come across our borders this past year.

The President spoke about terrorism and how we have to continue to go after the terror threat, he didn't touch on the fact that the underwear bomber was grossly mishandled and to really save face should have fired everyone involved especially Janet Napilatino of Homeland Security. He said we are offering incentives to the Afghan's in an effort to end the incredible corruption that exists there, but since it is a way of life there I think incentives are a waste of time, we're only enriching the crooks. He also, said that we are working to train a national police force and build their military so they can take on their own enemies, a daunting task at best.

He spent about a nano second admitting that he has made a mistake or two and then went on to try to convince those listening that what goes on in Washington is very complicated stuff, whats so complicated about doing the right thing for the American people.

Throughout the speech his backdrop was the Vice President looking like a life size 'bobble head doll' with his head in a continuous up and down motion that I'm guessing was a form of agreeing with every word the President spoke and Nancy Pelosi who would break out in one toothy smile after another when the psychotropic drugs she must be taking would get the best of her. All in all just another campaign speech.

It's finally time to weigh in on the underwear bomber and how he was mishandled by the government.

The underwear bomber has been an on again, off again subject since his terrorist' effort was thwarted on Christmas. The handling of this whole thing has been nothing but a mess since minute zero on the day it happened. Janet Naplitano, the head of Homeland Security, was the first government official to bungle the job with her moronic statements, sorry retractions and even sorrier explanations about what had taken place. The President buried his head in the salty sands of Hawaii for three days before he managed enough courage to get in front of the teleprompters to address the nation and then did his usual best to disengage himself from the situation. Robert Gibbs made sure he got out the White House's message that it was anything but a terrorist attack and chided the press when asked what it really was then and when he was finally aggravated enough he would give them all the 'LOOK'.

The news media continues to post pictures of this piece of dung on the screen showing him as an innocent looking twenty something youth, when in fact he is a terrorist, who was trained to do exactly what it is he tried to do, and in case you have been on Mars since the holidays he tried to blow up a Northwest Airlines passenger jet flight 253 with 258 passengers and 11 crew on board. The authorities who questioned him botched the job about as badly as it could have been botched, they did not call in experts and questioned him with airport personnel, for all anyone knows he could have been questioned by some TSA bag checker who himself could have been an Islamic sympathetic to the 'cause', and then Mirandized him to insure that he would never make another statement again that could be admitted in court. Various department heads of government agencies were questioned in the last few days about the mishandling of this mess by Senate members and all each could do was give an 'I don't know', and this President is surrounded with these idiots.

It took weeks after the attack before Mr. Obama finally came out and was forced to admit that we are at war with terrorism, however his actions continue to indicate otherwise. He is still going through with the monkey trial of the 911 masterminds in New York at the behest of his Attorney General Eric Holder who like Mr. Obama is another lawyer with little practical courtroom experience, With all of the bad press that 44 is dodging these days and the fact that most of America has finally caught on to his game he will surely touch briefly on the WAR ON TERROR, which you can almost bet he will call by some name other than what it actually is, I'll be watching but I don't expect much more than the smoke and mirrors we have been shown so far.

In the Socialist world more jobs means more government, no competition, no innovation and no future. Welcome to the world of Obama.

This week Mr. Obama will give his 'State of The Union' address and he is supposed to come out fighting just as he appeared to be during the election run up a little over a year ago. Because he got torched in Massachusetts he has hired on his old campaign manager David Plouffe who engineered his ascent to power and hopes Mr. Plouffe will re-image him after Wednesday's speech, there are several little details that may get in his way though. Mr. Obama was forced to show his hand during the last year and many of his stalwart followers have developed something call reservations (Defined as; Doubt, Misgivings as in reservations about marriage) about their anointed one and actually for good reason. When Mr. Obama neglected the economy for the entire year he sent a message to the American people that he could care less about their condition and that he was only interested in pushing his agenda through which would ultimately act as a means to moving the country toward early stage socialism.

One of the biggest questions that most of the media outlets seem to be avoiding in their questioning is, what kind of jobs will Mr. Obama be attempting to create. Considering the fact that manufacturing jobs continue to leave the country at a record pace and those have traditionally been good paying middle class jobs I guess his plans call for an explosion of service type jobs that traditionally pay less and have considerably less room for advancement, so much for the 'American Dream'. Mr.Obama has yet to define what the jobs in renewable energy and green technology actually are, by that I mean I would like to have either the President or someone else, preferably someone that can be traced directly back to 44 himself, come out and give a detailed job descriptions of what it is they actually plan to create, and I almost forgot, how much is this going to cost us.

I really don't think that will happen though since the President has brought his old campaign manager back into the fold with the express purpose of tricking the American voter one more time. His rhetoric will be the same as it was when he campaigned for the 'office', an endless string of empty speeches directed at those who are easily convinced to think that they 'can' get something for nothing, beware of what you wish for.

After the Massachusetts upset, it appears the most positive result is Democrats and Republicans being terrified of losing their cushy jobs.

The Massachusetts Senatorial election brought out the very best and worst that both parties had to offer. There was some real world backbiting, good old fashioned in the gutter campaigning, lots of over confidence on the one side, lots of determination on the other and in the end lots of Congressmen and Senators running for cover and trying to see how they could align themselves with the new kid on the block. I have never seen so many Democratic Congressmen and Senators distance themselves from any President past or present as quickly as they have. They have gone from the ultra confident 'we're going to pass bills and shove legislation down your throats and we don't care what you think because we have a super majority so we can do all of the closed door backroom deals we want,' to the Health Care initiative really wasn't clear and the American people have a right to be informed step by step as to what we are proposing and we feel there needs to be much more discussion.

The Republicans on the other hand, though gloating for a few hours are now sucking up to anyone and everyone to include the President himself. To the man they all say they really like the President and think he is a fine fellow and hope he moves a little to the center and they wish him a very successful term and hope everything settles down enough for him to decide if he wants to run for a second term, which translates to; they think he's a Socialist jagoff and that they hope all of his programs backfire on him and that he is run out of office in disgrace after he gets caught having an affair with a tall thin very white woman. The Republican electorate have gone on and on ad-nauseum about how they relate to the common man and how they are proud of all of the Republican voters who came out and made their voices heard, when it was INDEPENDENTS who saved the day and if these slime balls are not extremely careful they will all be the next group to be shown the door. I have never seen so many phony looks of sincerity as I have this last couple of days when the New Media interviews these people looking for their take on the weeks events.

We have an opportunity and in my estimation an obligation to clean house in Washington in this off year election as well in 2012, I prefer non lawyers who are conservative Independents myself.

It took less than twelve hours after last nights drubbing in Massachusetts for the Obama propagandists that got him elected to start spinning again.

After every Democrat, interviewed last night, tried to play down the significance of the special Senatorial election in Massachusetts as a local issue without any national implications the tone seems to have taken a far different direction this morning. The left media has adopted a much more sober approach although I think it's because they're losing viewers as fast as they can grab the remote because most are tiring of being preached to endlessly about the advantages of programs no one understands and the fact that even true believers are coming to understand that they have been outright lied to. The right media are still as giddy as they were last night to the point they're suggesting that they may be going to run the likes of Newt Gingrich for the Presidency, he a genius according to Monica Crowley on Fox who apparently has a mental love Jones for the genius from Georgia, I wonder if they meet secretly at Mensa meetings?

However a disturbing event has taken place this morning that all of America should be aware of and that is the reemergence of propagandists that are responsible for our current President's election to the highest office. My reasoning is that these people are the ones who talked nonstop to the point that they wore down many of the 'middle of the roaders' with a form of brain washing right out of the Alinsky handbook and had an easy time with the eighteen through thirty crowd who were eager to swallow the hollow promises of entitlements, other free stuff that wouldn't have to be obtained through hard work and that this administration was going to right the wrongs of all past generations ( I was actually told that by a mush brained over zealous emotionally led follower of the progressive movement).

The real issue at hand today though is not the election but keeping the momentum moving to make change in Washington through the election of new people to the majority of offices. This should be a bipartisan issue since the meltdown of our economy was truly a bipartisan effort. The worst thing that could happen right now would be the end of the Tea Party movement, this has been a major factor in the reawakening of the American voter and will be as important to taking back control of our electorate as the propagandists were to electing a ideological socialist to the Presidency of our country.

It only took the America bashers less than a week to unite on the Haiti catastrophe and they're in high gear, may they all rot in hell.

One of the oddest things that occurs whenever there's a catastrophe anywhere in the world where the United States voluntarily steps in and provides aid and assistance is the almost instantaneous emergence of what I like to call the 'yellow tailed America bashers'. The 'basher' comes in many forms. some we expect and others are totality perplexing. It is a given that we will have to endure the rantings of the South American dictators and despots, the weasels that inhabit the temples of Asia and some of the underhanded remarks of the 'former socialists' turned capitalists but really ultranationalists from the former eastern European countries blowing off gas about how the United States government has been lax in their response and never provides enough aid to whatever the disaster is, even though the U.S. ends up in most instances providing well in excess of half of the aid given out to include cash that the governments of those recipient countries usually steal and deposit in Swiss bank accounts. They all manage to pledge aid and assistance making sure they let the world know on prime time news casts worldwide that they're going to provide the desperately needed aid and assistance and that it is on the way, like the three greatest lies--the check's in the mail, I have complete control so I don't have to wear a rubber and email me and I'll forward the third lie privately.

Then we have the born and bred in the good old USA types who are of the belief that we never do enough and that they believe in the conspiracy drenched brains that our government wants to see all of the human suffering taking place for some perverse reason. These claims usually come from some high profile or high profile has been but for some reason they never seem to have facts to back up their rhetoric. This morning Don Imus had one of these goofs on in the form of, as he calls him, the great Dick Gregory, comedian and civil rights activist or at least that's how he, Mr. Gregory, has the network bill him. He was attempting to intersperse lame comedy in a 'negro dialect' (Credit Senator Harry Reid for resurrecting that one)and at the same time taking pot shots at the government for it's apparent, only to him, mishandling of the earthquake disaster in Haiti. What people like Mr. Gregory and apparently Mr. Imus fail to understand is the fact that Haiti is a dangerous place under normal conditions and in the present state even worse. The government of Haiti is more corrupt and chaotic than the Karzai regime in Afghanistan, gangs rule the streets and the drug trade probably eclipses the total GNP of Haiti itself. The country is so fractured that UN Peace Keeping Forces have been deployed there six times since 1995 with increases in the size of the forces each time they are needed. The other fact that people like the two esteemed mentioned above have a difficulty understanding is that it takes time to mobilize relief efforts for a disaster the size a scope of the one in Haiti. To Mr. Gregory, you can bag this one Dickie your out of your league with your stupid comments. There is one bright spot for Mr. Gregory, there have been several other douche bags who have piped up since the earthquake and have also received harsh comments for their lame assessments of how and why this took place and the reasons we are providing aid, in other words, he's in good company.

What it all boils down to is this, Americans have always railed to the aid of those less fortunate themselves be it natural disasters or wars. I'm just guessing but I would say that we will continue to do this for the foreseeable future and will probably continue to be maligned as we have in the past and present.

After being outed as just another crooked hack politician, Senator Dodd decides to cash in and retire, knowing he couldn't get elected dog catcher.

In what should have been an illustrious career as a US Senator, Christopher Dodd is being forced to retire since he and his people have more than likely run the numbers a million times or more only to have them show that he hasn't got a chance of being elected dog catcher in his home town let alone re-elected to the US Senate. In the last year there were just too many issues that surfaced that even the deaf, dumb and blind (that's a euphemism for the Idiot's) in his home state of Connecticut that had voted him into office six consecutive times couldn't overlook any longer.

The sweetheart mortgage deal he got from the then Chairman of Bank of America, I think it was called a 'friends of Angelo' loan or something like that, where regardless of credit or income there was no better deal which meant he owed some kind of special favor to the Bank. Then there was his involvement with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae disasters and the 'pushing' of the sub prime loans that sunk these two institutions which the government continues to pump taxpayer money into as fast as the red ink continues to run out the other side. Why, he stood side by side with Representative Barney Frank, a man of equally low repute, while the two of them spouted off like a couple of North Atlantic Right Whales shooting steam out of their blow holes trying to convince the American people that there was no impropriety going on during their watch, America watched, America listened and America decided they were both liars.

Sadly the soon to be former Senator from Connecticut will probably get away with any and all wrong doing and go on to some consulting job courtesy of his friends in Washington and there abouts. The only consolation that we have as regular citizens is that he knows that we know that he sold his office, his reputation has been sullied and for people with ego's as large as Senators that's crushing.
