It appears that the President missed the message about the literal ass kicking he took in the November elections. Someone needs to tell him that he is now going to be at the mercy of a House dominated by the other guys and a Senate full of his guys that want to be re-elected in two years. I realize he needs the left to get nominated for a second term but there is no guarantee they will want to hang their future on a three legged horse, this would be a tough one even for the likes of the godfather of the left ( I really shouldn't invoke the name of God in the same sentence with that douche bag Soros but it adds some humor, dark though it may be) George Soros.
The Prez can't seem to get over the idea that the country wants the Bush era tax cuts extended for EVERYONE, and apparently no one in his administration has taken the time to tell him that the American people are on to his one speech after another attempt to brain wash the country to the point that they buy into his hollow promises again. I think it was either Lincoln or P.T Barnum who coined the statement "You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time", either way it fits the current President and his entire administration to include Hillary Clinton.
He comes out against any new drilling effectively killing God knows how many jobs in the gulf area. Based on the speed that this administration moves at, it will be a real long time before a drill head cuts the ocean floor and sadly for no good reason other than to push our economic recovery further back.
We are now into the latter part of the first week of the security leak via WikiLeaks and still the country hasn't heard a word from our commander in chief. It was reported that WikiLeaks wasn't shut down by the government but by some ex-military people so this just proves that the President and his people are in favor of whatever breaches in relationships with our allies may come about from this mess as evidenced by their lack of any action. The Rasmussen Presidential tracking poll for today shows 28% of voters strongly approving of the way Barack Obama is performing his role as President. 42% strongly disapprove giving Obama a Presidential approval index rating of -17. In case you don't know this doesn't fare well for the Prez, and by the way his number have been on a continuous downward trend almost since taking office with the exception of a few small ups and downs.
I have some advice for the President since his MO appears to have worn out. Try this Mr. President, Whistle a happy tune, I thought this was advice from Uncle Remus but it turns out it is the title of a song from The King and I, written by Rodgers and Hammerstein. You can google 'I whistle a happy tune' and will see the lyrics fit this administration perfectly.
