Is it proper etiquette to tip a TSA employee if he or she gives you a good 'rub' during a pat-down? And if so, what's a reasonable amount?

Once again the geniuses occupying the hallowed halls in Washington and specifically Homeland Security have missed the real point by attempting to be 'politically correct' and forcing all travelers to submit to scans and or pat-downs or both if they are good looking, when the real point here is profiling. And since the whole problem of travel security was brought about by Muslims, they should be the principle targets of the security people. It is a fact that we as a nation have never heard a collective voice from the Muslim community as a whole condemning the acts of their Muslim brothers and sisters, and for some strange reason our government seems to have missed this, I wonder why?

Aside from just having to go through an 'electronically' invasive process like scanning the real issue here is what do you tell travelers who fly frequently about their excessive exposure to radiation? What about people with health issues who are often X-Ray'd more than they should but require it to monitor their conditions and then are subjected to potential over dose of radiation?

Here's another question that I'm sure the big wigs at TSA won't touch; Are the people operating the scan (X-RAY) equipment at the airports trained to the same standards as a Radiology Tech, they're operating X-Ray equipment aren't they? I doubt it, my best guess is that the vast majority of TSA employee's couldn't even tell you what Radiology is. OK, maybe they have at least taken some of the prerequisites to become a Radiology Tech, like Biology and the ever popular Anatomy and Physiology, again I would guess we've entered the unknown zone for the average TSA employee.

And don't believe for one second that our government is trying 'desperately to balance security and privacy and will take the public's concerns and complaints into account' as stated by our defense secretary. Oh yes they'll do that, just like they did when the government was jamming all that unwanted legislation down our collective throats over the last two years.

These are strange times we live in for sure.
