First we had Janet Napolitano telling us, America, that the system worked, then she changed her tack and probably her underwear too when she realized that everyone in the listening audience knew that the system didn't work because it was being run by a bunch of incompetents. Ms. Napolitano then went on to say that the system hadn't worked properly but had because in her words the 'event' was fouled, nice try Janet, it was in the words of a former FBI agent, 80% effective and the parts that were completed were devastating in that the country was terrorized, the air traffic system staggered and we were forced to put all kinds of new security measures into action. The only thing that was missing was loss of life and a large explosion.
Then we, America, get one story after another from just about every governmental agency with the possible exception of the post office each making the government's handling of the entire situation look like a disaster at best, they even tried to blame George Bush at one point and finally shut up when they realized that their guy has been in office for a year now and security for our country has been securely in the hands of 44's people since the inauguration. So the President finally comes before the cameras after three days and God knows how many tennis games and rounds of golf and more than likely at the urgings of his handler people and makes a statement to the effect that we will hunt each and every one of these dastardly people and bring them to Justice, here! here! and all that and a day later he realized that no one bought what he said.
Now we get the new explanation that our Intel people had information but there will have to be an investigation to find out if we could have stopped the terrorist, all the while softening the statement from a terrorist attack to a fouled attempt to a botched effort and I'm sure in a couple of days it will be called a bad publicity stunt and then relegated to the back page of the papers before being cut, there's only one problem, it's the third attack of it's kind this year under the watchful eye of our government and no one is forgetting other than the easy to hipmotize true believers.
Maybe it's time for profiling since all of the politically correct methods have failed miserably. Whats wrong with leaving the grandmothers in wheel chairs go through unless they're looking for a good frisk, and pay attention to middle eastern and mainly Islamic types who are the ones that are the poster boys for terrorism. And then, as one former CIA operative said, annihilate them and the problem will be ended once and for all.

Math for Democrat's; 10's of billions for the Medicare prescription drug benefit by the GOP is far worse than Trillions for bogus Health Care Reform.
Typical of the Alinsky inspired Democrat's in Washington DC they' took another ride in the 'way back machine' with Mr. Peabody and his pet boy Sherman' to ostensibly create another smoke screen to hide what are going to be the astronomical costs associated with their health care reform bill. The year they landed in was 2003 when the Bush administration and the GOP deficit financed and added the 'prescription drug benefit to Medicare.
It goes without saying that there should have been a modest tax increase put into effect to cover the prescription drug benefit and based on the success of the program would more than likely have found universal acceptance with most Americans. But to compare a program that will end up costing several hundred billion over a ten year period as compared to their reform program that is more than likely going to cost us several trillion over the same time period is just plain stupid. And as far as government programs go the prescription drug benefit program was and is as transparent as a program can be which again is the exact opposite of the program being proposed by the Democratic Congress and their friends in the Senate.
I would think that since we are coming into an election year the Democrats have the most to loose since even a small shift will put an end to their ironclad majority. I'm guessing that many of the Democrats are wishing for just that as they have 'seen the light' in the Socialist inspired policies and proposals put forth by Mr. Obama at the direction of his handlers and advisers like Rahm Emanuel, George Soros and Cass Sunstein. The programs that the Obama administration have so far proposed really have nothing to do with helping Americans which is evidenced by the fact that the Obama administration has absolutely no concern about the financial burden his theoretical solutions to 'social issues' will place squarely on the backs of average Americans, specifically; Health Care Reform, Cap On Trade, Climate Change and Alternative Energy Development.
This coming year is the first time that American voters will have a chance to put a stop to the costly vague programs being proposed by the crooks and ideologues that inhabit Congress and the Senate.

The prayer controversy in the Senate was the right request at the right time and for all the right reasons.
Senator Coburn a Republican from the great desolate state of Oklahoma couldn't have been more on the money when he asked everyone to pray that some of the Democratic Senators that were about to sell us down the river to a socialist inspired health care program, wouldn't be able to find their way down to the Senate floor to vote. Now I personally don't think he was asking that these people meet their end or get their just reward even though there wouldn't be much along the lines of a day of mourning if they did make their way to the great beyond.
My best guess is that he was praying and requesting that we all do the same and request in our prayers that each and every Democratic Senator lose track of time while dallying with their mistresses and whatever, or overstay their welcome at their favorite watering hole and while away the evening in the same drunken stupor most of them are in the majority of the time. The Democrats on the other hand immediately reach for their Alinsky handbooks and start throwing the usual accusations, first insinuating that he meant the ailing 92 year old Senator from West Virginia, Robert Byrd who probably sleeps through most Senate votes and more than likely has a string attached that one of his colleagues uses to raise his hand when his vote is needed. My real question is, how do these guy's keep getting elected to office when it's generally quite apparent that they should have moved on years ago. Byrd in the Senate must be like Douglas was in the Supreme court at the end of his agonizing tenure.
One of the best parts of this show was Senator Durbin, an abortion loving Senator from the great and corrupt state of Illinois, a religion basher in that as a good Democrat he is for the removal of all signs of Religion in public places, taking a pot shot at Senator Coburn for 'invoking God's name in prayer for political proposes', in God's name Dick even a Senator like yourself, can't pull that one off. In the end the vote went through but the shows not over yet. There is time to pray that this horrid bill doesn't make it in it's current or House form. Pray that America wakes up and writes their Congressmen and Senators and let them know how they feel about getting screwed, also that they won't forget this when elections come up in 2010 and 1012.

Just when I thought it was safe to go into the water Al Gore pipes up with another prediction for rising water levels. So what now a new deep end?
I am fast coming to the conclusion that Al Gore got his speaking style from some of the old 'B' movies that flooded the theatres and Drive In's during the 50's and sixties, and for the most part people have paid attention to his 'B' movie rantings like teenagers in the back seat of their dad's 66 Chevy Impala. Yesterday though he fired his latest round across the bow of the good ship 'Intelligence' with his newest prediction that the earth's polar ice cap is in danger of melting within the next 5 to 7 years. Now from what I can gather the only way we could possibly stop this from occurring is to do the following.
First we have to kill off somewhere in the neighborhood of half to three quarters of the earths population, and of course bury them as opposed to burn as the carbon dioxide would be staggering although composting or an alternate food source (reference the movie Soilent Green)might also have some merit. Secondly we that are left, and I am assuming that I will as someone has to keep a written record of the event, will have to revert to our earliest instincts as we are going to have to live in a stone age setting since all forms or power generation, sanitation, manufacturing, transportation, central government and mass gatherings will have to be eliminated to cut down on greenhouse gases, all matches and butane lighters will have to be destroyed so there is no chance of fires being set for any purpose, in other words all food will be eaten raw and no more distilling or marijuana (which will probably drive most of the Progressive types to an early end anyway).
If all of this can be accomplished within the next two years, about the same time table President Obama lied about with his Afghan Policy, we have a slight chance that the caps won't melt and the seas won't rise, but then again with half of the people gone we won't miss a few miles of coastline. The world fish populations will come back, wildlife as was only known long before the turn of the century will also return, the PETA people would be so happy, but it won't matter because they are going to be in the group to be killed off to help save the planet along with all of the Pro-choicers, tree huggers, environmental scientists that have contrived most of this stuff, Democratic patronage workers (which may actually meet the one half of the worlds population), Socialists and atheists since they are basically the same as all of the above.
Essentially, Al Gore has stuffed his foot in his mouth once again and sadly he will have the goofs that listen to him filling his pockets with cash again to help prolong this moron's crusade for fake science.

Lets see, unemployment took a jump this week, deficit's still growing so's the Afghan war, that's it, the perfect time to go and get your Nobel Prize.
Another first for the Obama Presidency, going to Oslo to collect his Nobel Peace Prize from another group of liberal minded phonies and of course a chance the Prez and 'buff arms' to have a quick lunch with the King and Queen of Norway before jumping on Air Force One and wasting the second half of the approximately $275,000,00 dollars that it costs to fly them to Norway, put them up and fly them back home, whats wrong with this picture. Well, if you'll read on I'll try to get a few quick points across.
First and foremost, no sitting President has ever wasted his time going to personally pick up his prize and the cash associated with it. Woodrow Wilson and Teddy Roosevelt didn't, they sent an ambassador and an assistant. So as ineffective President as Wilson was he understood how insignificant the 'Prize' was in relation to running the country in time of crisis, the same applies to Roosevelt although he may have had a fishing trip planned for that day. I will check on Norway's voting record in relation to US policy but if I was to guess I would say they vote against us more than with us which means I wouldn't waste my time to meet them in line at a McDonald's carry out window let alone sit at the same table for a fish dinner.
First and foremost, the employment numbers took another jump this week, which means the Obama's should have cancelled their plans even though Oslo may be one of the stops on the Obama world tour. Wasting the money to fly there is bad enough but the image this pompous ass projects by leaving the helm of the foundering ship of state that he supposedly Captain's is unconscionable.
First and foremost, how can this President bring a known liar in the form of Al Gore to the White House to consult on climate issues. Climate gate is only one more small piece of information that has shown Gore to be a fraud and yet this President seeks his council on how to present his case to the World Climate meetings in Copenhagen. And again, how can a President faced with the economic crisis' we have here at home take time to attend another meeting that will only cost us dearly, why not work on our economy and when it's back in shape take a few days off, oh I forgot, he may finally be getting the message that he probably won't be here after 2012.

Green Jobs, Climate Change, thats the ticket Jethro! thats how we confuse the moronic middle class until we get all the money and power.
The President and his 'people' are out there telling us that the best way to fire up our flagging economy is to create 'Green Jobs' since green jobs are the future. So far there's been only one little flaw in their plan and that flaw is that no-one in the Obama administration can really tell anyone what the 'Green Jobs' are, even though they throw out job *CREATION figures in the millions and that we need to invest HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS in these jobs as quickly possible, does that mean HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS like the TARP money that went to their friends in the banking and financial industry that disappeared like an early morning fog bank when the sun comes up and the great investments in the car companies that are really paying off so quickly, GM sales are down 5%, that's means minus, this past month, and Chrysler a whopping -25% which means they can't give their cars away.
There is documented proof that the monies that have been thrown out so far equate to about $240,000.00 to *CREATE each of the jobs the Obama people have been trumpeting and many of those it turns out are temporary. Green jobs on the other hand cost considerably more to create and themselves are not necessarily permanent, so what's the answer, I have one and I'm sure there are many. Make funds available to small business and individuals that are starting small business, do it in the form of Grants and loans, they will actually create permanent jobs that contribute to the economy in the form of taxes to help pay down our ballooning deficit. Big business if you remember exported most of their manufacturing jobs and the likelihood of them bringing those jobs back here anytime soon isn't going to happen. There isn't a credible economist out there that won't tell you that REAL permanent job creation comes from small business.
But if that happened it would create an environment where the working class wouldn't be dependant on the government and I really don't think that's part of the master plan.
Thanks for reading,
*CREATION - A term used by the Obama administration referring to the creation of jobs that has turned out to be an outright lie based on total fabrication with the sole intent of deceiving the American public into thinking that their policies were effective.

One east coast elitist said tonight, 'Mr. Obama seems to finally be connected'. If thats true, then what's he been doing for the last eleven months?
I listened to part of the President's speech this past evening and came away with a few of my own opinions. More troops are probably what is partly needed to get this mess under control however the eighteen month timeline is in my opinion realistic, practical and more than likely not attainable. Considering that we will not have the new troops in place before January of 2010 and those troops will take at least a month to two months to get placed and another month to get the lay of the land so to speak that adds up to somewhere in the vicinity of four months shot in the seat of the pants out of the eighteen the President claims is all that's needed to subdue an enemy that no one in recorded history has been able to defeat.
I realize part of his timeline logic is based on timing for his' highly anticipated run for a second term as are most of the other time lines for programs he has proposed since being elected to the highest office in the land. But the war in Afghanistan has nothing to do with being re-elected and the problems there are far more complex than the feelings of the Afghan people not being enamored with the idea of being occupied by another Soviet style army, which we definitely are not. The Karzai regime is going to have to get in step with our policies immediately if there is to be any real permanent progress made and that is going to be almost impossible considering the fact that Karzai is corrupt on a scale our government may not be able to comprehend, on the other hand they may know exactly what they are dealing with, but either way he is going to be like trying to control another Saddam Hussein and we know how that ended.
Today the Afghan generals were saying they needed almost twice the number of troops and national police that we have given as estimates, before they will be able to hold back the Taliban, if we have not been able to properly train the personnel they currently have how in God's name will we manage in the time being allowed before we pull out? There is continued talk about the fact that the Taliban and Al qaeda have long range plans, and let me put this in the proper context since we Americans generally don't think past the end of our proverbial 'dicks', their plans cover many years, like whatever it takes maybe several generations if necessary and as such they can lay back, wait for an adversary to spend themselves, like the Russians did, as a contemporary example, then dig up their weapons, rockets and bomb materials and go back to work. For some reason our politicians don't address this point and in fact go out of their way to avoid confronting it, as was the case in an interview I watched this evening with an East coast elitist ambassador type.
There may be a possibility to win this conflict but time lines to appease a far left constituency is not the way to go about it. This is going to take a gargantuan effort as Afghanistan hasn't got the sophistication or the resources of an Iraq. This is basically a 'total build out' of a country emerging from the middle ages that will require monetary resources that may very well tax us and others beyond our capabilities.

It's Black Friday and deserving of a politically incorrect (my specialty), appropriate response to that fascist pig Silva, the Presidente' of Brazil.
It never ceases to amaze me how we Americans are always somehow blamed for any of the troubles every other nation in the world manages to get themselves into. A perfect example is the news article today about President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (I hope all of those names aren't the last names of men his mother thought might be his father) attempting to extort money from the industrialized world, principally North America and Europe, to help preserve the rain forests of Brazil, when in fact the Brazilians, that's Brazilians of Portuguese and Nazi German decent not Indians native to Brazil, have been the principle promoters of the destruction of the rain forests for the last twenty five years or so. They have been systematically logging and clearing the rain forests, displacing native peoples, to expand their agricultural machine as part of their rapid industrialization.
If it was anything other than extortion he wouldn't have used the term 'Gringo' which many say is what they, those living south of the border, call us in North America. I have always looked upon the term 'gringo' as kind of a racial slur similar to a non Hispanic person calling an Hispanic person a 'spic' or calling a white person 'white trash' or a black person a 'nigger' or any one of hundreds of other nasty slurs that apply to the many racial and ethnic groups that inhabit our wonderful diverse planet. No matter what the circumstance, it only manages to incite and infuriate those that are on the receiving end of the slur. And since the rain forest has much to offer science in the form of plants that have great medicinal value and the fact that the rain forests of Brazil absorb a great deal of the worlds carbon dioxide, the Brazilians feel we should all pay to clean up a problem caused by their greed and stupidity. It's extortion because if the countries of the northern hemisphere don't pay they won't be given access to the rain forests. I say no, net, ochi, nie, nein, khong, sam, bian hao and whatever the word 'no' translates into in any other language, I also say, don't buy any products that say 'Made in Brazil'. Sadly, I hope our very own President Obama doesn't cave as usual, to the demands of this particular weasel when he runs into him at the upcoming climate summit in Copenhagen.
I managed to reference a few racial and ethnic slurs today that are specifically Brazilian and under the circumstance deem totally appropriate.

Jobs created and Jobs saved, how about the Obama people created a lie, got caught by the GAO and think they'll be saved if they continue lying.
There was an article about the faulty jobs saved/created statistics that the Obama people constantly refer to in an effort to further confuse and convince the American people that they have lit the fuse under rocket ship we call our flagging economy when in reality much of what they are pumping out is pure unadulterated gas from the south end of a north bound Bull. There was a report out this week stating that the GAO or one of the few other offices that the President and his people can't manipulate the number in, stated that the administration has been overstating the numbers for jobs saved/created by a pretty significant numbers. The example used was a district where they claimed there were quite a few jobs saved/created when in reality the district doesn't even exist. If that wasn't enough, when the government office checked they found out that this 'phenomenon' as we'll call it exists all over the country. They were unable to give exact numbers other than to say the number is large.
There have also, been several other reports out this past week that put much of what the government is saying about jobs in jeopardy. One report stating that about a quarter of the jobs that are currently in the U.S. are jobs that can be outsourced and if that's true it will more than likely happen when the taxes the Obama people are planning to effect are levied. The other stat that is difficult to figure is the productivity reports. The administration claims that the economy is surging ahead, then fairly reliable sources will quickly tell you that what is actually happening is that companies are only replacing inventories that they have to replenish to stay in business, who are you going to believe? I hate to sound like a pessimist and I would like to see our economy move ahead positively but I'm sticking with the economists for the time being and their stance that this is not anywhere close to what the White House claims.

Oooooowe baby, those Democratic strategists weren't lying too much about Republican wins in NJ & VA having no reflection on 44 & Co.
God, and I do mean God, I love elections almost as much as I love irony. Tonight there was a stream of Democratic strategists coming on the various news outlets, one after another trying to do their best impressions of 'men of truth'. To the last man, woman, gender bender and whatever, they insisted that the Republicans winning the races for governor in New Jersey and Virginia had absolutely no reflection on President Obama and Vice President Biden, really now. Their explanations were that this had nothing to do with the Presidents overall image or influence and they made the point that his approval ratings indicated that, what I think they failed to say is that the approval ratings were most likely taken by one of the Democratic pollsters and those interviewed were more than likely Progressives/Socialists and employees of ACORN. I guess his Mephisto (as in Mephistopheles) like charm may be wearing a little thin as even his most ardent supporters and easily stirred up are coming to the realization that they are all, rich and poor, going to be taxed out of their skins to pay for questionable programs the Obamanites are trying to put into play (Obamanites are not to be confused with the Amalekites, the Hittites or the Israelites and in fact have no significance whatsoever with Biblical, Ancient or Recent History other than they would like to see all forms of religion done away with to ease the transition to a Socialist form of rule).
The Prez showed up three times to campaign for, the very soon to be former, Gov Corzine and the Veep made two visits to the Garden state to campaign on his behalf, all to no avail. Apparently over 50% of the people didn't believe a word they said or maybe they just punched the wrong button on the voting machine by accident. Virginia was even worse because the Republicans scored a clean sweep of the highest offices in the state. Neither of these elections bode well for the White House and more so the Congress and Senate. This is a clear message that the American people aren't happy with what's happening in Washington and for the sake of the American people I hope this trend continues in the 2010 and 2012 elections. We're in dire need of a total face change in Washington and this off year election was a great start.

Wow, Senator Kerry has added some new titles to his somewhat storied resume, General and Military Strategist, goodbye Afghanistan.
Senator Kerry just can't seem to keep himself out of the news and for good reason, he wants all of the limelight he can get and always has. Within the last week he helped 'broker' the deal to get 'his friend' Hamid Karzi to accept a runoff election by more than likely promising him the moon, possibly unrestricted movement of Afghanistan's principle export, Opium. Maybe he promised him the services of ACORN in the upcoming election because that would guarantee his winning the contest and maybe he just promised him a set of plane tickets for himself and his family if the situation in Afghanistan begins to fall apart and Hamid needs someplace to go with all of the aid money he has stolen.
But the best is Mr. Kerry questioning the General McChrystal's request for more troops to be able to effectively fight against the Taliban and al qaeda, stating that his plan is to ambitious, does this mean that Senator Kerry wants to do a Robert McNamara and send as many Americans to their death as possible. He talks about sending just part of the Generals request which is nothing more that an effort to placate the left and the right, kind of a numbers game, send to few the right gets really miffed, send to many and the left goes ballistic. But either way it increases the danger for the troops that are already there as it shows that not only is Barack Obama indecisive but so are the politicians that are advising him on his every move.
An article today stated that Kerry was making these statements in front of a group from the Council on Foreign Relations which is made up of former Presidents, high ranking bureaucrats, businessmen with close government ties and scholars, an incredibly influential think tank located in New York City. My guess is that the outcome has already been settled, but there is one real sticking point in this conflict that even the Council may not have a handle on or be able to rig the outcome and that is the Afghan people don't like us, OK they can't stand us, but it's not just us it's everyone they can't stand, they don't like us or anyone else invading their country. So when the Senator is putting our troops in harms way by under staffing them his endgame as he states it may never come to pass and the membership of the Council may never reap the profits that I'm sure they do in most cases.
Anyway, I was never aware that Mr. Kerry was such a brilliant military strategist and an armchair General of such distinction. His past military history and experience surely wouldn't indicate that he was such a standout that he qualified for any of these titles, it looks more like a certain idealist appeaser, who is by the way, the top guy, that the Senator appears to be emulating. I can just see the Taliban and their al qaeda allies now, telling their people that the US has lost it's will and if they just bide their time the Yankee Imperialists will go away just like the Russians did with their tails between their legs. There are probably similar reactions in the Presidential Palaces in Russia, Iran, North Korea, China, North Africa, parts of Europe and South America. The American people are being played again by the politicians in Washington at their expense.

It looks like the Obama people are taking a page from the Socialist play book that deals with discrediting the media prior to taking state control.
The past several weeks has been marked by the usual Obama rhetoric dealing with the dozens of programs he plans to initiate in his first and hopefully last term as President. The President is still giving almost daily speeches echoing the same message of Hope and Change in what appears to be some weird Manchurian candidate kind of brainwash that he and his handlers think will sway not only the American people but the whole world to willingly accept their Socialist agenda. He continues to waffle on Afghanistan, still won't give clear facts about his health care program, keeps babbling on about how he is going to generate millions of jobs in Green industries when the basic infrastructure is non existent and worse the technology is in most cases years off, the deficit continues to grow at a staggering pace and the administration keeps making excuses for all of the money that was paid out to various financial concerns and has virtually vaporized without leaving a trace.
All of the above adds up to news, news that doesn't have to be distorted or embellished, only reported as it is dished out by the White House and according to the spokespeople for the President, that ain 't right. From all appearances the President and his 'people' think the American people should just step up and swallow whatever message they hand out and we should accept blindly whatever policies they wish to put into effect regardless of what the cost to America is. So when anyone or any organization particularly the Television Media questions the administration's messages or policies they get very upset, so upset that they effect genuine Socialist tactics of attempting to discredit the Media, if you don't believe this you only have to look to our South American neighbor Venezuela, and it's current Socialist dictator Hugo Chavez. When Mr. Chavez took office after wowing the ignorant with promises of redistribution of wealth, he set about discrediting the Media shortly before he took state control, as Socialist governments know, it's easier to control the general population when you control the flow and content of information.
Now it appears that even the left leaning Obama supporting Media outlets see their own position as tenuous at best, they might agree with his politics to a point but they don't relish the idea of potentially being state run puppets one day, so like it or not they have to stick up for the people at Fox who have fallen into disfavor for relatively straightforward reporting and commentary. Whats odd is that the left Media outlets have terrible ratings in comparison to Fox, to the point that some of their most 'progressive' commentators have only a small following, yet they somehow managed see the danger of going down the path that the Obama people are attempting to get them to follow. It's going to be interesting to see what kind of a spin Mr. Emanuel and Mr. Gibbs try to put on this defection of their Media pets.
I'll bet that like the US, history isn't taught in schools in Venezuela as well as most if not all countries that are either run by Socialists or are leaning that way. Here's a hint, clueless is easier to control.

Organizing for America is just another Acorn off shoot taking advantage of the mentally weak and emotionally led to do their bidding.
Those cagey Democrats are back at it again, they're back to using their mindless foot soldiers in an effort to replicate their winning run to the White House, only this time they're getting quite a bit of opposition because the rest of America is finally waking up to what the Great Orator is up to. The Dems have mobilized the same non taxpaying masses that they used last year to intimidate regular Americans under the guise of Hope and Change, nice try this time but no point will be given. As the news continues to come out of Washington about how much Health Care is going to really cost in terms of increased taxation on all Americans, more and more people are pulling back their support. Not that the Administration ever had much support from the right, it's the traditional backers of the Democratic party that are turning away in droves
People are finally beginning to see that, tough they will have access to the so called Cadillac plans they will suffer in the long run because the cost will be stifling and the service may not be anything they currently are able to get. The lower side of the middle class will be oppressively taxed as they attempt to make the climb the middle or higher wage brackets thus making the American Dream next to impossible to attain. If Mr. Obama would tell the truth, which I'm beginning to think he is incapable of, he would tell America that there is no way that just taxing the rich and upper middle earners could even begin to cover what he and his handlers have in store for us all.
For my part I will vote in all upcoming elections to help rid the electorate of every Democrat and Republican that has tried to load this and every other counterproductive oppressive Bill on to the backs of the American taxpayer, this is the only way there will ever be change, our elected officials must be taught to understand that they are elected to work on the behalf of the American People.

Ah, the lofty company of Nobel Peace Prize receipients, I wonder if 44 will have them all over for a beer summit to celebrate?
The President woke up this morning somewhere between 1.2 and 1.6 million dollars richer and at the same time found himself in the lofty company of the likes of Jimmy Carter and Al Gore, I wonder if his handlers had to hide the razor blades or if he thought it was really cool. I always thought the Nobel Peace Prize was given to those who had accomplished a great deal promoting peace during their lives, so this most current issue of the prize makes it appear as though there were no qualified recipients or the basic criteria has changed as radically as the politics our current President and his many minions appear to espouse.
I can understand Jimmy Carter's win in that he has tried in his own weird naive way to promote peace in and around the middle east, albeit, at the expense and possible extermination of the Nation of Israel. Al Gore is the one though that is the most perplexing of them all, a Nobel Peace Prize for his over the top, OK, his outlandish, contrived, phony science, jive views on climate change that appear to have been promoted to make him very rich and accomplish nothing else whatsoever. Then we have Kofi Annan possibly one of the most ineffective useless and corrupt Secretary Generals of the UN which is in itself an oxymoron, remember his oil for food program where I believe one of his sons got really rich and the po' got mo' po'. And how can the world ever forget my all time favorite, Yasser Arafat, now I guess he's a good choice if you are the consummate Jew hater and think that terrorists are just misunderstood well intentioned guys. But wait, if you recall Mr. Arafat who was so concerned about the Palestinian people and their plight made sure that he got billions in funding and foreign aid to 'help improve the impoverished lives of his people, the Palestinians' when in reality Mr. Arafat was the sole recipient of many of those billions of Aid dollars dished out by that evil United States, yes billions, and deposited the cash in Swiss Bank accounts for himself and his family, and the neutral Swiss, knowing what he was doing never said a word, so much for Mr. Arafat.
President Obama has basically been given the award in the same way he was begging for the Olympics, for himself. Not for any special accomplishments but what he says he would like to do, it would be nice if the committee choosing their recipients would base their choices on what the individuals have accomplished and not what they promise and may never deliver. There have been many who deserve the award and I'm sure many who should have been awarded the prize instead of any of the above mentioned, but that's politics on the world stage.

I've created 1 million jobs since taking office, well I've saved or created 1 million jobs since taking office, well OK maybe it's all smoke and bull.
What is all this horse crap about creating 1 million jobs since taking office stuff, then in the next breath he says he has saved or created 1 million jobs since taking office, well, what is it and for that matter what kind of jobs have been created. None of the enlightened Obama people will tell anyone exactly what the jobs entail or what sector the jobs are in, are they government 'sit on your ass all day' and collect a check for doing basically nothing type jobs or are they real jobs that will contribute to our economy.
You see there are government jobs that we the taxpayers cover the salaries for and aren't really jobs that the economy benefits from since they don't make anything tangible or provide services that can be sold on the commercial markets. Then there are jobs in the private sector, those are jobs where people actually work for a living, produce products and provides services sold on the open markets, get paid for their productivity and pay taxes that go towards paying the salaries of the government workers that 'sit on their ass all day' and collect a check.
The undeniable facts are that unemployment continues to rise and the percent unemployment numbers we are force fed by the government are only slightly skewed, in other words unemployment is actually higher that the 9.8% we are being told. And what about the 9.8% anyway, didn't 44 promise, guarantee, step on a crack it'll break your mom's back that he had the magic formula that would keep unemployment under 8% and that it would never exceed that number on his watch, well I'm no mathematician but in my grammar school math class 9.8% was always larger than 8%, what the heck maybe this is new math. Oh, I forgot one thing that may negate all of this, you see if unemployment goes down it's because the current administration is doing a great job and if the number goes up it's the guy before him that deserves the blame, now I'm not now and never was a big fan of Ws' but even true believers are starting to have a tough time swallowing the bull s_ _t these guy's keep throwing out.
Instead of spending time on the economy this administration runs off in every other direction paying back favors that they owe to those who helped them get elected and that is just plain stupid unless they all know they have a one termer on their hands and they want to collect as much money and favors as they can before the anointed one gets the hook and is sent back to his Hyde Park home in Chicago. They say The University Chicago hasn't found a replacement for Michelle Obama, maybe their waiting for the next state Senator from their area to be elected or the replacement for Roland Burris in 2010 so there is a desk to place his or her wife or husband at. And who knows, maybe their waiting for Mrs. Obama to become available again in 2012 since they can't find anyone that qualified in the ever expanding national employment pool.

Why haven't Federal Insurance Antitrust Exemption and Tort Reform been openly addressed? Two more reasons to clean out the House and Senate in 2010.
Why, with all of the Health Care reform debate isn't anyone making a big issue out of the fact that the Insurance companies are exempt from Federal Anti Trust requirements? Other than the Insurance companies paying off most if not all of our Congressmen and Senators I don't really know why, there can't be any other reason since this is the principle reason that we don't have any real competition in the marketplace, it's called 'no incentive if there's no competition'. We wouldn't be in the predicament we are today if there was national competition between insurance companies, and I don't buy for one second the lame excuse the insurance lobby throws out, that it will drive small insurers out of business, when in reality they will be forced to provide quality services. What will happen though is the 'crappy' insurance companies, of which there are many, would have to 'straighten up and fly right' or go out of business. I have had the misfortune to have been forced to use several of the, I'll call them, lesser, second tier or 'crappy' insurance companies over the years and from my experience all they do is take your hard earned money and give bad service in return. You want Health Care reform, then make this priority one.
Next is Tort reform and the second issue that the current majority in the House and Senate, that's Democrats for you Democrats that never bring up the topic in the company of your conservative brothers and sisters when you are berating us for being against your Health Care Reform movement that even you don't understand other than you think it's going to be free, which it ain't gonna be and never was, because most of our legislators are attorneys and from what I can gather many are of the ambulance chasing variety which means they derive a great deal of their income from suing Doctors and Hospitals and heaven forbid they should have their income limited in any way because they can no longer file one frivolous law suit after another. The last statement has nothing to do with legitimate suits that come about from negligence on the part of poor doctoring or hospital care, those deserve to be pursued, but even the lawyers of the ambulance chasing variety have to admit the system is clogged with greed driven stupid suits.
Well anyway, both subjects made about five minutes in the news this last week so I guess our elected officials and their mouthpieces in the media think it's all over and back to business as usual, I say they're very wrong. We can all make a tremendous difference in the next elections coming up in 2010 and 2012, it's time to take our government back from a small group autocrat wannabees and turn it back into government by the people and for the people.

President Obama's speech to the UN was so full of Hope and optimism, then Gaddafi, Ahmadinejad, Chavez et al brought us back to reality
I have scanned over Mr. Obama's speech to the UN outlining his dream for the world, one where we all pitch in together and make everything good and wonderful, where everything is green and opportunity abounds for all. Where Democracy flourishes and all of the peoples of the earth reach out to each other in Peace and Harmony. Barack, you're several hundred years early with your request and for some strange reason passed over several issues that are going to make the fruition of your grand dreams difficult at best to even implement. Then after another in a long line of most uplifting speeches, every known tyrant, dictator and despot who is a member of the UN, that's all of them in case your wondering, got their chance to get up and bash the United States mercilessly for hours on end.
The President's remark about Israels 1967 occupation finally shows his true colors and there is now no question that the Israelis are on their own. That's good because they will handle things as they should have all along. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is going to make the mid-east peace initiative take a little longer than expected and if the Iranian's refuse to open their facilities for inspection because they are close to having the 'BOMB', Israel will have no choice other than to bring to Iranian program to a cataclysmic halt, but then again maybe that's what everyone has had in mind all along.
The 'New era of engagement' remark was particularly poignant. His comment about our religious convictions bringing us together was a nice touch considering he and his inner circle are about as anti religion as you can get. Although in his dream Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and all the rest will be dancing around the Maypole hand in hand, but considering the Maypole is more often than not considered a phallic symbol my suggestion is that we all keep a thick hardcover book stuffed in the back of our pants.
The four pillars was the best part though, The first pillar was another veiled benign threat to North Korea and Iran about their nuclear programs that fell upon deaf ears once again and some more sabre rattling for good measure, because in reality the Chinese are the masters of North Korea and until they decide to do something, nothing will ever happen. The US is not going to go after China because the government has doesn't want to upset such a valuable 'trading partner', I hope you notice I do not use the word ALLY. Then his pillar of peace and how we are going to cooperate with and enlist the help of all of our three allies, France-Germany and England, to confront terrorism around the globe. Then he went for the 'Rodney King' to close the deal.
The third pillar is one of the best kept secret jokes of all time. The Obama people are intent on creating all of this alternative energy and essentially making oil obsolete when the world economy is driven by oil, most of our adversaries and or enemies have oil and their wealth is derived from oil so they have absolutely no incentive at all to pursue anything else. The emerging countries could care less about green industries, their interest is building economies and pollution etc fall very far down on the list of priorities. The fourth pillar was a nice finish if you were still awake and the last plug for what a great institution the UN is was the horse manure frosting on the cake.

The US Attorney General has proven himself to be another Obama pick choosing style over substance. We'd be better off with Geoffrey Holder.
I was not really following the CIA investigation story very closely over the last couple of weeks even though it looked from the beginning that it was nothing more than a socialist witch hunt that was being put on to further undermine our National Security by the ever expanding Obama Czar system. I was having enough of a problem digesting the swill produced by the Regulatory Czar, that is, Mr. Sunstein's theories on Social Engineering and how communication should be controlled, apparently he is not a fan of free speech, but enough of him for now I'll cover that one on another day.
So anyway, I'm watching a news report while I'm working out on my Nordic Track when the reporter says that Mr. Holder admitted that he had never read any of the documents related to the very investigation he was authorizing, that he had only been briefed by staffers, and was still going forward with an investigation and possible prosecution that would HAVE far reaching effects on our National Security and our relationships with our allies for God knows how long into the future. The first thought that comes into my mind is, 'What kind of an idiot is this guy'? He is proving himself to be another bungling bureaucrat who has exceeded his level of competency by probably ten GS rating levels (I don't know what GS level janitorial staff are, but it's somewhere in there) that this President has managed to snag from his crony pool and have himself placed in a position of authority.
I guess their plan is to completely destroy any credibility we have in the world and to hand any edge we may have over to our enemies and adversaries. Then it takes an unprecedented seven letters from past heads of the CIA to even elicit a response from 44 himself who's out running around making the same speech over and over through any and every News outlet that's willing to give him five minutes of air-time in an attempt to convince America his Health Care plan is good and that he won't or doesn't want to increase taxes and that the money he is going to take from each and every one of us isn't really a tax it's just money that is going to the government, and basically admits he isn't up to speed on what has been transpiring in the offices of his hand picked top law enforcement guy the Attorney General.
From his appointment this one has been less than impressive and only goes to show the country that this Attorney General is nothing more than an ideological tool of the so called minds behind this administration. Janet Reno have been absolved and replaced.

This may be the most fair and novel approach to welfare that has ever been floated.
There was an article supposedly written by a construction worker, popping up on the Internet today and the concept he proposes may just be the best approach ever fielded for fairness when it comes to entitlements. That is, want your welfare check, then you have to pass a urine test. For those of you who don't understand the technical phrase; Urine test, I'll put into a phrase that I know you'll easily recognize, you would have to piss for your money.
The writer states that he has to pass periodic urine tests since he works on a government funded project and if he can't pass he loses his job, he also, pays his taxes which are taken out of his paycheck and the funds are spent by the government and distributed to those less fortunate who don't have jobs and are part of the welfare system. He says he has no problem helping those who are unable to find work but has a real problem with those who, as he puts it, sit on their asses, drink beer and do drugs and to this I'm in full agreement. I could take this much further but I would be accused of everything from being completely insensitive to the needs of others to being an out and out racist all of which I would call Democratic - Socialist - True believer horse crap and in my world definitely isn't a conversation stopper. In fact I would welcome the label and welcome the opportunity to make the accuser look like the dumb ass most liberal accusers' are for even using the term racist.
We are in need of change in this country and one thing that our elected' never seem to properly address in the entitlement system, and please don't get me wrong, there are many people who for one legitimate reason or another cannot provide for themselves and deserve to be helped out. I am referring to those able bodied who think the system owes them because some poverty pimps told them this is the easy way, or for that just plain lazy ass who thinks living like white trash is OK as long as someone else pays for it.
I am of the opinion that our government should be open to any and all solutions that are presented and so in the interest of getting along with all of my fellow Americans I am going to blog good ideas, like the Urine test concept in the HOPE that some of our elected officials see the logic in these ideas and promote CHANGE that will lead to an equitable system for one and all. Mr. Obama talks of testing his health care reform in small pockets across the country to show how it will really work, this idea would be simple to test in the same way at the same time and I can guarantee would show a significant savings from the day one.

Goodbye Van we hardly knew ye, or better yet if he's no commie you can throw me out.
I normally don't go for piling on but in this instance it's not only appropriate but a necessity to keep this example of subversion in front of the American public until they begin to wake up and look what is happening before their Prozac glazed over eyes. This is another perfect example of this current President, that's President Obama for you true believers and the rest of you who are just asleep at the wheel, appointing not just another Socialist to his stable of Czars and inner circle but a real card carrying radical Communist, by his own admission, the overthrow the government and put us into bondage kind of Communist. Not only that, he's an avowed white hater, now if that isn't an indication that the American voters were duped in the last election I don't know what is, what happened to the PRESIDENT FOR ALL AMERICANS PLEDGE.
Don't think that Mr. Jones was the only one of his kind, a Unicorn so to speak there are more where he came from, and as we have seen, our President and his inner circle will continue to throw them up against the proverbial wall until enough stick to begin the real changeover of our society from a successful Democracy to a Socialist Republic that will stagnate and oppress like all of those before. Socialism is an idea that has been tried and failed time after time. The most current iteration hatched is Chavez in Venezuela, even the ignorant that elected him are finally waking up to what is in store if he stays in power.
Remember, this is still the land of opportunity, if you apply yourself, work hard and persist you can and will more than likely succeed. You can be whatever you want to be under our system of government, there are no limits. Under the Obama dream lies social engineering which in a short form is; you are told what you are going to be, how much you will make and where you fit in the pecking order and that's it.

Mr. Obama, emergency control of the internet, how about the truth, just come out and tell America that you want to take away Freedom Of Speech.
As a blogger and more importantly an American who believes in the precepts set down by our founding fathers I find the premise of the government taking control of the Internet or any other medium of communication absolutely unacceptable, even in times of crisis or national emergency, an idea floated by our current President. One of the rights we have that sets us apart from every other country in the world is free speech and by that I mean uninterrupted, un-violated free speech.
I have a question for all of the young people out there as well as the older idiots that voted this administration into office who were' willing to sign their futures over to this bunch of Socialists for a promise of hope and change that has yet to be defined. Do you understand that the first right taken away from any populace when Socialists take over to make control easier is the removal of free speech? What has Chavez done in Venezuela, what did Putin do in Russia, what did the military junta in Myanmar do, what has Castro maintained control over, what does the Communist government in China maintain strict control over, what did Hitler do and what was one of the first things that Lenin did after winning the revolution in Russia? I'll tell you geniuses, they all took control of the media and in modern times the Internet as well, control communication and media outlets=control of the population. For you non readers that means no free exchange of ideas and the only information you will get will be laundered and spun to the ruling administration's liking. Much of this may not happen right now but you can rest assured the movement to institute this and many other Socialist changes is not going away any time soon.

Goodbye TK and goodbye to HC reform, both were bad ideas that have hung around too long.
I will admit that I have never been a fan of Ted Kennedy and other than conveying my genuine condolences to his family for the loss of their father, uncle, great uncle, grandfather, etc...etc... think it was time for a change, in fact his political career should have ended with Chappaquiddick and commanding the wheel of an ice cream truck should have been the pinnacle of his sphere of influence.
But in this time of great media manufactured sadness there is a bright spot or should I say a silver lining in this very dark cloud we call Health Care Reform. It looks like it really may not make it and that's very good for Americans in general. There will more than likely be some version of the bill passed and that's not good because it will not force the addressing of many important issues, particularly the overhaul and reform of the legal system, the insurance industry, Medicare and Medicaid and sometimes I think that's precisely what The Congress and The Senate want.
Senator Lieberman was right this past week when he said Health Care Reform couldn't pass because there's NO MONEY. And the cost, if passed, will be beyond what we as a nation are capable of sustaining.
I'm forced to refer to the real world example of my friend who is on disability right now as an example of how our 'broken' system works. I'll call him 'Jim' (he's a real person on disability and the reason is very real, he's not a slacker) for today, needed to have a cyst removed from his hip that was giving him problems, he met with only a few people in the Medicaid system and after being referred to to the correct Doctor had the cyst successfully removed, got follow care and is OK today, quality health care I'd say. He takes medication daily for his condition and the cost is incredibly expensive monthly, far beyond what he could pay and because the great state of Illinois has been bankrupted by the inept politicians that 'run' it, he was in jeopardy of losing his treatment and drug benefits. Again he met with several Medicaid people who told him how to apply to drug companies for direct assistance and again the outcome worked out favorably. What am I missing here?
I realize this problem is more complex but do we really need all of this 'reform' when a good old fashioned tweaking may be all that's necessary. Academics are not practical and that's a truism, they lead insular lives developing theories within their community that they come to believe will benefit the ragged ass masses without ever asking anyone if they even want or need their help to begin with.

Negotiating with the Chinese when they hold all of the cards is a further sign of how weak our government and corprations have allowed us to become.
Talks begin this week with the Chinese on the economy, Korea and how jobs may be created in the US to help lift us out of the recessiondepression that we helped to create. Sadly we are in a horribly weak position to negotiate with the Chinese on any topic. Our government allowed our greed driven corporations to export the bulk of the manufacturing job in this country to China over the last twenty years and the principle influence used to sway the government was through lobbying efforts which is nothing more than a legalized form of bribery. In order to 'maximize profits' rather than modernize their facilities to compete worldwide, the corporations moved their manufacturing offshore with the blessings of the government, and the government being as short sighted as the corporations took the money and essentially put the wheels in motion that have led to the economic crisis we are in today, at least that's how I perceive things to be in my simple world.
The Chinese, wanting to fuel their fledgling economy were a most willing recipient of the jobs and in fact were gracious enough to come, dismantle obsolete factories and move them in whole to China where they reassembled the obsolete factories and went to work, in the process putting millions of Americans out of work. The Chinese, being much better long range planners than their American counterparts knew that they could start their economy, eventually rebuild with hi-tech factories and by artificially keeping their labor costs low could bring us to our knees as they have today. Essentially what they have done is turn us into a beggar nation as we have to consult with the Chinese before we make any financial moves because they also had the insight to buy up the debt we were creating from our reckless spending and ever increasing trade deficit.
Since the talks are to held here don't expect much. We really have nothing to bargain with at this point, we have a huge trade deficit, have no real way to get the Chinese to let their currency float other than begging. It's just a guess but I'd say China uses North Korea for nuclear research and they aren't about to stop until they have squeezed every bit of information they can get from testing, they also have an excellent foil in the North Koreans as a way to keep the east and west off balance.
Other than an opportunity for 44 to make, what is becoming an almost daily occurrence, another speech and I have no clue what number this one is, it is also a chance for Hillary Clinton to save some face from her recent verbal thrashing and public humiliation at the hands of the North Koreans and another chance to drag out Tim Geithner to show one more time how ineffective he really is. There is an upside to all of this, even though we will have to put up 150 Chinese trade delegates and spies for however long the meetings run, there's some solace in the fact that US taxpayers don't have to pay to send our delegation on a junket to China, put them up in hotels, pay for meals, entertainment and whore house excursions.

The left has resorted to dragging out every race baiter they could muster this past week, 44 himself even got into the act, how shameful and stupid.
President Obama made a point when answering questions after his failed health care reform speech last night of touching on the arrest of his 'close friend', Henry Louis 'skip' Gates Jr the distinguished Harvard professor of black studies. Mr. Obama went on to dis the Cambridge police when he had no facts in an effort to raise the issue of racism probably thinking it may get him and his unpopular program big points with the 'guilt ridden' white American public, it failed miserably. I must say though that the liberal progressive media has had a field day with this donkey show for the last couple of days. One race baiter after another has been trotted out and allowed all of the air time necessary to put one set of viewers after another fast asleep with their over worn 60's rhetoric.
One of the best commentaries was on Hardball when Chris Matthews had to show one of his black guests that he is the consummate white beating white guy when he brought up 'the time he hailed a cab at an east coast airport for a 'distinguished looking black man', or he may have even used the ever popular distinguished African American gentleman, when no cabs would stop for him', I wonder if he did that to get invited to this years Quanza festivities at some nice black family's home inside the beltway.
What Mr. Matthews as well as his distinguished guests failed to elaborate on was the fact that cabs don't like to stop for black men regardless how distinguished they look because so many cab drivers have been robbed, well since we're trying to be truthful, robbed and killed by this particular demographic over the years. It is genuinely sad that black men have to suffer this indignation, but what is more disturbing is the fact that this goof and people like him intimate through their tone and expression that it is white cab drivers that pass the black men up, whites are a very small minority of cab drivers, that field is dominated minority groups and their fear of robbery and potential death is real.
So to those who think they are furthering Mr. Obama's agenda by using this old and tired tactic, give it a rest, no one is buying it.

Even the CBO is having a tough time swallowing the Obama health plan, I wonder why?
In this mornings news there were several items of interest, the first being the CBO which I believe is the Congressional Budget Office, came out and contradicted the Administration's assertion that their proposed health plan would save money, lot's of money. Apparently, some bureaucrat over at the CBO must have found their Texas Instruments basic elementary school calculator in the back of a desk drawer and decided to do some good old basic add'in and subtract'in, just for the fun of it and found out that someone over at the White House was try'in to run some numbers. Running the numbers sometimes has the connotation that someone is trying to put something over on a very unsophisticated audience (reference the emotionally led American public).
They said there wasn't going to be a half trillion dollar savings but they were going to end up spending at least a half trillion dollars more than they were projecting. Our President and his staff have continually spouted how they are going to fix everything and save costs which is proving time and again to be nothing more than a bunch of bureaucrats making claims they can't back up with real facts. What the heck, this was so blatant that the CBO couldn't even cover for them. We are in need of health care reform, but why not start with a very thorough and comprehensive overhaul of whats in place and then look at what else needs to be done before committing trillions to a plan that has not been very well thought out.
The the other bit of news is the Veep and his advising people to spend as this is the way out of the recession, Joe, overspending and irresponsible Politicians like you are what got us into this mess and are what is perpetuating it.

I have never seen so many scared liberal types come out of the woodwork when the name Sarah Palin is mentioned.
I always qualify myself when it comes to the subject of Sarah Palin, I'm not a great fan but the criticism she has taken from both sides is an indication of how much Republicans are afraid of her, and why I don't know other than she would be difficult for party higher ups to control as she appears to have her own thoughts as to how things should be. The Democrats on the other hand are stricken with stark terror by something as simple as her mere image on a magazine cover or television news report. This fear is evidenced by the hysterical attacks fronted by the liberal/socialist media personalities, if you can call them that. Like it or not she has a following and like it or not is electable and that scares the liberal element in this country more than anything.
Why she stepped down is essentially her own business, more than likely she has future plans and as they say this was probably a good move. Why stay on as governor of a really small state with little or no exposure when the 2010 elections are right around the instant media corner and if she has plans for 2012 she has to get on the stick and begin to build an organization and build the credibility she will need to get elected or help someone to get elected.
As the rumors fly she looks as though she will get some kind of show of sorts and has a book deal in the works, good for her, she's worked hard to get to where she is today.

44 got personal with Russian graduates, talked Democracy, cooperation and even said they were friends. I'll bet you he didn't buy it either!
The President gave one of his many speeches to a graduating class in Moscow and discussed changes in the world and the changes that have taken place in Russia for the better. I'll admit it is slightly better but the political situation hasn't really changed one stinking bit. Putin ran the country like a dictator and then hand picked Medvedev to make things look like Russia has embraced a new democratic style of government. He even mentioned in one speech that Mr. Medvedev won by 70% a similar number to Amadinejad's margin in Iran and the world knows how much on the up and up that fiasco was. The media is state controlled and the talking heads are told what they can say, ah yes freedom. The KGB has just changed it's name and the government Nationalizes any essential business that they don't already have a piece of, sounds a little like the direction a certain country that uses the letters USA as an identifier is going in.
During the speech he specifically mentioned his African ancestry in relation to opportunities available to minorities and others in a free society, but, why is it he never mentions his white ancestry, in fact he goes out of his way to avoid discussing any connection to white people. He's half white you know and was raised by his white grandparents. I'm not saying this made him any better or worse but by his own admission his father was less than a stand up guy. Now I can say I'm not ashamed of my ancestry at all, maybe a little of the Irish but not at all by the German and Russian Jewish parts.
He went on to say that Russia and the US were not destined to be antagonists, that's OK but after his meeting with the real boss Putin, the Russian leader came out and said"On areas that we disagree like Georgia, I don't anticipate a meeting of the minds anytime soon", directness is one of the few likable attributes that Putin possesses. If the Prez wants to forge a lasting partnership with the Russians, it will take China turning on the rest of the world to have that happen and then it will last about as long as the alliance lasted during and after WWII.
We have to deal with the Russians but we should deal with extreme caution. Earlier today some liberal mush brain was sounding off about the wisdom of the US destroying it's entire nuclear arsenal and if this was accomplished the rest of the world would follow, sure they would, after they enslaved us all and or extorted every concession that could be wrung from neutered society by an enemy. I hope Mr. Obama woke up to the smell of some really strong Russian coffee while they were there and came to his senses a little, but I don't think so.

We need term limits on all elected offices, repealing of the 22nd Amendment will lead to either dictatorship or Socialism of the worst variety.
The 22nd Amendment to the Constitution was passed in 1947 and for good reason, after careful review of FDR's terms and what the possible consequences could be in the future. Even though very few Presidents have served past two terms our founding fathers saw more than two terms as a step in the direction of Monarchy. Now before any of you liberal punch sipping idiots go off on the Monarchy thing and how it is an outdated concept and wouldn't work today, put your walnut sized brains to work for a minute or an hour and make the comparison to Dictatorship or Socialism or Totalitarianism or whatever and think this one over before trying to convince the world that elected leaders should be allowed to stay in office indefinitely.
This bill was introduced by the Socialist Congressman from the Bronx the Honorable Jose Serranno. Mr Serrano must see this as a way to get a fellow Socialist, Mr. Obama, in office for a very long term and thus usher the US into the Socialist age. Why is it people come hee from other countries, Puerto Rico in the case of Mr. Serranno, and want us to change our form of government. Why not just go back there and finish ruining his native country. Mr. Serrano's personal philosophy is that there should be equality and that means equal everything for everyone, that means if you work smart and hard you get the same as some lazy ass that doesn't want to do either, work hard or smart, good thinkin' Congressman.
I'm for term limits in all offices from the highest national to the lowliest of local. I really believe we wouldn't be in the mess we're in today if we had term limits. The only way we will clean up government in this country is to impose term limits, but sadly it is an issue that has to be voted in and without pressure from voters it will never happen, remember term limits is to a politician what a cross or a stake through the heart is to a vampire, they will go to virtually any length to avoid doing the right thing, and by the way term limits would get rid of the likes of the Congressman from the Bronx.

New Haven, a place to realize the American dream as long as you're anything other than a white guy.
New Haven, Connecticut whose slogan is 'It all happens here' hits a home run with that one. New Haven, founded in 1638 is home to Yale University, had the first public tree planting program in America and is known as the Elm City, in 1784 Roger Sherman one of the signers of the Constitution was elected the city's first mayor. Why, New Haven is the Birthplace of our illustrious former President George W. Bush, what a history. But what stands out most about New Haven is that it is probably the worst city in this great country for a white guy to try to attain the American Dream.
New Haven is the home of a group of white firefighters who took the local test for promotion and then were denied by city officials because none of the blacks that took the test passed, discrimination at it's best. Their logic was that the black firefighters would file suit if they promoted the white firefighters regardless of the fact that they didn't pass the test for promotion. The white firefighters decided not to take the slight laying down as most white guys do in America today and sued. The local court, as I call them, ruled against the firefighters and the case went on the the appeals court where none other than Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor sat on the bench, and low and behold the fair minded interpreter of the law also, ruled against the firefighters. The case went to the Supreme Court and Justice was finally served, the White firefighters won, they can get their promotions. Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg the most liberal of our Supreme Court Justices was one of the dissenting judges, and since she is white and has some kind of liberal guilt thing working for her wrote in her brief that New Haven had not engaged in illegal discrimination and that the firefighters had no vested right to promotion other than they had met ALL of the requirements set by the city, a typical decision from a lawyer who's background consists of working for the ACLU and academia.
What has come from all of this is a look into how the system works, how discrimination against white males has been legislated and is rampant across the country. Testing is modified to make it easier for minorities to pass, laws based on flawed logic are in place in municipalities across the country that essentially punish whites who apply themselves in an attempt to succeed. Sadly, these laws don't not help the minorities they are written for, what does move all Americans towards equality is a level playing field. Why not let all applicants for all positions know what is expected of them and if they apply themselves, work hard and study hard they will have real equal opportunity. This legislated nonsense just isn't working.

American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 or how many jobs are going to be lost before the 'millions' are created.
I had the opportunity to run a textile screen printing company in southern California way back in 1990. I was hired initially to get the sales area reorganized, straighten out the accounts receivables and within weeks was given the additional title of general manager or hatchet man which was a more appropriate description of my duties. I bring this up because I had an intimate look at the operation of the company and it's relationship to the EPA in California. California had a system of credits that is similar to what the Obama people are going to put into place if the Senate passes Clean Energy and Security Act.
The company I managed revamped their operations because the codes were so restrictive that they decided it would be easier and far less costly to print with water based inks and not have to put up with all of the government regulation and endless inspections that were basically impossible to pass. As a result we employed about 125 people when we should have been staffed at around 250. At the same time businesses were leaving California as fast as their leases were up or they could sell their property. Much of that business went to Mexico by the way, American manufacturing jobs, skilled factory positions were lost permanently. This is going to be the same scenario, but now on a national scale. Oh yes there may be jobs created, down the road, and you may notice Mr. Obama, the maker of wild ass claims, won't even hint as to when these millions of jobs are going to start or what they will be.

Stalin, Khamenei, Hitler, Khamenei, Pol Pot, Khamenei, Castro, Khamenei, Sadam Hussien, Khamanei, Idi Amin, Khamenei Oh well what are you going to do.
And the Obama administration wants to have a dialogue with the Iranian regime, over what. Apparently they, or 44 himself, think they will charm the rags right off the heads of these Islamofascist's. Don't they get it, this is nothing more than Joseph Stalin with a turban and a long white beard. The only difference the regime in Iran headed up by the 'Supreme Leader' Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and that of the old Soviet Union headed up by Joseph Stalin is the state religion. The same repressive tactics exist and were probably taken right from Stalin's play book.
Today the Ayatollah says that there will be no more discussion about the rigged elections that just took place in Iran and that the Kangaroo (I apologize if any kangaroo's are offended) court system will begin prosecuting protesters for questioning the railroad job that just concluded. This all means that an awful lot of dissenters are about to meet their end, that's the way Totalitarian governments quiet anyone that either questions or opposes them in any way. The next time Amadenajad is invited to speak at one of our fine educational institutions keep this in mind.

Apparently the Chinese and Russian puppeteers have the strings tangled on their Kim Jong Il doll.
The Chinese and the Russians have been giving the west fits for years with their refusal to help with reining in North Korea. As most people familiar with the situation will tell you, the Chinese and the Russians have been playing the west for suckers through the Koreans for years and for some reason the west has never caught on, at least publicly. We cave each end every time Kim starts to rattle his sword and when the crisis ends North Korea goes right back to whatever they were doing before.
However it now appears that the North Koreans have some type of nuclear weapon or at best or worst the technology to produce one based on their recent underground test and now also appear to have the means to deliver one based on the recent and proposed missile tests which appears to have embarrassed the Chinese and the Russians by the seeming loss of control over their puppet nation and that doesn't sit well with the control freaks in either country. As a result the Chinese and the Russians are requesting the rest of the world to join with them in applying further sanctions on the North Koreans, what a bunch of baloney.
We finally have the Chinese and the Russians right where we want them. As Juan Williams stated in an interview today, we should announce a nuclear Japan, that would force the two nations to take control of North Korea and at the same time would show that they have allowed Kim to run on for so many years because they benefit by having a disconnected nation where they can violate treaties they have signed agreeing to cease development of nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction.

Here come da' judge, Here come da' judge and the sad fact is that it's not funny.
I can just imagine the level of anxiety that ran through every member of the House when they impeached Federal Judge Samuel Kent of Texas, today. Not because they had a daunting task before them but because many of them are probably guilty of the same offense they were impeaching the judge for. Rep. John Conyers of Michigan said the issue before them was shocking and shameful, Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas came forth with a healthy dose of good old Texas bull s_ _t when he said he was not unsympathetic to the judge who claimed to be suffering from alcohol abuse and depression from the death of his first wife (that must be some kind of cryptic bureaucrat speak indicating he has a second wife somewhere), and I wonder if his second wife is upset by his forcing himself on his female staffers. However Rep. Alcee Hastings of the great sovereign state of Florida said nothing, probably because he himself was impeached as a federal judge for corruption charges and for the life of me I can't understand how anyone with an ounce of brains would vote a crook like him to another office, no wonder he has such a fine smile on his face on his Congressional site.
For some reason Congress won't or can't fire this goof, and since he refuses to resign he is going to collect his $175,000.00 salary next year, now if that isn't justice gone wrong I don't what qualifies. Since nothing was mentioned about loss of pension, I'm sure he will be collecting one which means the taxpayers are getting double screwed and remember he's a federal judge so we all take this one the hard way. Here's a little scenario to provoke some thought; If you or I went before a judge with similar charges and claimed we were alcohol abusers and or depressed over something they would still throw the book at us, it would cost a fortune in legal fees and not only would we be fired from our jobs when we went to prison, if we were public servants we would lose our pension and would probably have to register as sex offenders.
This nonsense has to end and the only way it will is if the voters start voting these sitting politicians out of office. They write the laws and they also bend them to fit any given situation regardless of the cost to their constituents. A little something to think about when the 2010 elections come up.
