It's Black Friday and deserving of a politically incorrect (my specialty), appropriate response to that fascist pig Silva, the Presidente' of Brazil.

It never ceases to amaze me how we Americans are always somehow blamed for any of the troubles every other nation in the world manages to get themselves into. A perfect example is the news article today about President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (I hope all of those names aren't the last names of men his mother thought might be his father) attempting to extort money from the industrialized world, principally North America and Europe, to help preserve the rain forests of Brazil, when in fact the Brazilians, that's Brazilians of Portuguese and Nazi German decent not Indians native to Brazil, have been the principle promoters of the destruction of the rain forests for the last twenty five years or so. They have been systematically logging and clearing the rain forests, displacing native peoples, to expand their agricultural machine as part of their rapid industrialization.

If it was anything other than extortion he wouldn't have used the term 'Gringo' which many say is what they, those living south of the border, call us in North America. I have always looked upon the term 'gringo' as kind of a racial slur similar to a non Hispanic person calling an Hispanic person a 'spic' or calling a white person 'white trash' or a black person a 'nigger' or any one of hundreds of other nasty slurs that apply to the many racial and ethnic groups that inhabit our wonderful diverse planet. No matter what the circumstance, it only manages to incite and infuriate those that are on the receiving end of the slur. And since the rain forest has much to offer science in the form of plants that have great medicinal value and the fact that the rain forests of Brazil absorb a great deal of the worlds carbon dioxide, the Brazilians feel we should all pay to clean up a problem caused by their greed and stupidity. It's extortion because if the countries of the northern hemisphere don't pay they won't be given access to the rain forests. I say no, net, ochi, nie, nein, khong, sam, bian hao and whatever the word 'no' translates into in any other language, I also say, don't buy any products that say 'Made in Brazil'. Sadly, I hope our very own President Obama doesn't cave as usual, to the demands of this particular weasel when he runs into him at the upcoming climate summit in Copenhagen.

I managed to reference a few racial and ethnic slurs today that are specifically Brazilian and under the circumstance deem totally appropriate.

Bugre (Indian in Portuguese)
Macaco (Argentinian description of Brazilians - Monkeys in Brazilian Portuguese language meaning more racially mixed)
Pork and Cheese (Portuguese - sounds similar)
