For a guy that want's to be universally liked Mr. Obama appears to have never heard the old axiom, 'you can pay me now or you can pay me later'.

I have been listening and reading, yes reading about the auto bailout for the past week and it took that long to completely figure out that this is another screwing of the American taxpayer by our government. We are not just bailing out a couple of very large PUBLIC companies that got themselves into some financial problems, first of all, we are bailing out a private equity firm in the form of Cerberus Capital Management the current, for only a few days, owner of Chrysler Corp and using the guise of saving thousands of jobs, a very suspect claim at best.

However, before going much further a small clarification is in order. Cerberus the PRIVATE company, has been receiving billions from the government in order to prop up a company they have mismanaged horribly. They are, it appears, going to be allowed to sell the bulk of the assets of the company to Fiat and in the process stiff many, many investors in the form of pension funds and other institutional investors holding Chrysler Bonds and various loan instruments etc...ET AL.

You may wonder how they are able to perform this feat, well a quick look at who makes up this company and you can readily see how this can be accomplished. Cerberus is loaded with former politicians and very politically connected people from former Presidents, Vice Presidents to advisers of all sorts. This has all the earmarks of a classic setup, a con job for lack of a better term and the guy whose going to pay in the end with his reputation and standing in history is Barack Hussein Obama himself.

The GM deal is just a sleazy in it's own way and will warrant it's own blog in the next few days.

Thanks for reading,
