1. PETA protesting the Army shooting pigs to help train medical personal in treating severe battlefield injuries.
PETA is one of those do-gooder organizations, that needs more than a good thrashing on a regular basis. I always picture the leadership of PETA, being made up of trust fund babies and others who have no other purpose in life than to champion irrelevant causes that only end up costing working America in the form of lawsuits and wasted news print. They claim two million members, which I would think to be quite suspect. If they actually have two million names it was from sign up sheets they solicited on busy city streets during rush hour, that absolutely did not state their mission or organizations name.
I do however have a solution to the current protest regarding the shooting of pigs for emergency medical training for the treatment of serious battlefield wounds. And since PETA claims that some of the military medical people have a hard time treating the wounds on the pigs as it reminds them of their pet dogs (this one is total B _ _ l S _ _ t), although PETA bases out of VA and maybe in VA they have pet pigs instead of dogs, kind of a hillbilly thing I guess. My suggestion is that some or all of the two million members of PETA volunteer to take a bullet for the pigs. The upside is that the military people would not be reminded of their pet dogs, the training would be more realistic and probably save more battlefield casualties and the membership rolls of PETA would be thinned, no down side to this one at all.
2. Freddie Mac and the proposed stock share offer.
I am far from a financial guy and I will have to consult with my friend Guido who actually is, and doesn't just pretend to be one at dinner parties. But I will pull out the old crystal ball to help field a response and reference the press conference by our President the other day when he was suggesting a bailout or should I say a small, several hundred billion dollar cash infusion for Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae to help them through the current economic anomaly(anomaly is a nice word for financial disaster brought on by greed and stupidity), sink me, if I should have the nerve to use the phrase, a mismanaged private sector corporation joined at the hip with high government officials run by a bunch of bungling crooks that take inflated salaries and have no need to worry because they will be bailed out and face no consequences for their actions. My best guess is that they will have their stock offering and that some small share holders will get a royal screwing and the big share holders will some way get dividends large enough to make up for any losses they have sustained from lower stock prices or something like that anyway.
3. The Simon Wiesenthal Center and the pursuit of Nazi War Criminals.
There is a little blurb today on the Internet about the hunt for a Dr. Aribert Heim who was dubbed Dr. Death during The Second World War. Dr. Heim's specialty was torturing Jewish prisoners at The Mauthausen Concentration Camp in Austria, while they were dying. Dr. Heim is now about 94 years old and is supposed to be living in Argentina of Chile and the people from the Wiesenthal Center believe they are finally closing in on him after all these years. Apparently there has been credible information obtained from one of his daughters that he is alive and it is my sincere hope he is caught and has enough mental capacity to stand trial for what he did. It is also, my sincere hope that he has spent a good deal of his life living in fear of retribution for his actions, however most of these scum have been and are continued to be protected by the German government which is mind boggling in itself.
The German government continues to step in the way of prosecution of Nazi war criminals whenever one is uncovered. There are no adequate words to describe this behavior.
4. Poll's indicate that McCain's backers are less excited that those that back Obama.
Here is another poll, this time by AP that say's that Obama backers to include African Americans, or blacks as we call them in this blog as we are Americans whether we back McCain or Obama. We are not Polish Americans, African Americans, Irish Americans or anything else, we are AMERICANS and we don't have sub groups even though morons like Whoopie Goldberg think so. Anyhow, African Americans, Democrats and other liberal idiots are all fired up over Obama. My best guess is the psychotropic drugs needed to conjure up images of an unattainable utopia.
On the other hand the poll indicates that Whites, Republicans and conservatives, for some reason the AP won't give us whites the distinction of calling us White Americans, don't have the same enthusiasm for our candidates as the other guys', which would indicate to me that there is less reason to ingest substances that bring up the excitement levels in the more conservative groups since they may actually make decisions on sound judgement without all the psychedelia.
5. Chavez to seek unlimited terms in office.
Hey, Sean Penn, Danny Glover, Harry Belefonte and every other celebrity who has embraced this scum bag, I hope you beam with pride for promoting a Marxist dictator who is a real dickhead just like yourselves. I don't buy Citgo Products.
6. The case against Sudan for War Crimes against Darfur.
This is one of the saddest commentaries on our time. We have stood by and let this horror take place only because there is nothing of strategic importance in Darfur. The Clinton's and the Bush's should bone up on the law's of Karma and then find someplace to hide.
